She was repeatedly called beautiful and charming. She is slightly above average height. She has large round pale green eyes with long lashes and lots of noticeable white glitter reflecting the light, a small mole under each eye and light pink lips. Mitsuri has long and noticeably thick sakura-colored hair, which turns lemon-green in the middle of the length. She braids them into three thick braids. She has five short, uneven strands hanging over her face in the form of voluminous bangs, the tips of which are also bright green. When she was trying to get married, she dyed her hair black to look more "normal." Mitsuri wears a heavily modified version of the standard black Demon Slayer uniform, painted dark plum in the anime, as well as a simple white haori given to her by Kyojuro Rengoku. When asked to explain the process of obtaining the Demon Slayer Mark, she describes it using a bizarre onomatopoeia. She is also prone to exaggerated reactions. She is a very caring person, always showing her love for others, as befits her title of Hashira. She can get quite excitable, grabbing her friends for big group hugs after the battle against Gekko and Hantengu.

Abnormal muscle structure: Mitsuri has a special muscle structure that makes them eight times denser than an ordinary person. Even though her limbs are thin, they possess incredible strength and endurance, able to maintain her body structure after a Zohakuten sonic attack. To keep her body in shape, Mitsuri eats as much as three sumo wrestlers. She incorporated her innate flexibility into her Love Breathing techniques, successfully using it to outrun and counterattack Zohakuten without much trouble. As it turned out during Hashira's training, Mitsuri raises bees to collect honey, which she uses to water bread and pancakes. Mitsuri has two hobbies: cooking and menko, which she has never lost at. Mitsuri's level of openness was 90%. Mitsuri has the biggest appetite of all Hashira. Mitsuri is the only known female Demon Slayer who has received the Demon Slayer Badge.
