Immense Speed: Yukimiya possesses immense speed and can outpace the defending speedster Neru, as well as beat him in Bastard München's obstacle course. He is supposedly capable of running a 50-meter race in 5.91 seconds, while Chigiri's time is 5.77 seconds. Furthermore, Yukimiya was able to keep up with Chigiri's speed in the match against Manshine City. Yukimiya crossed from one side of the field to the other to defend before Chigiri could reach his golden zone, surprising the speedster.

Yukimiya is tall, with a slender but slightly muscular build. His hair is dark and styled. When he's not in a match, it's neat and straight, while during a match it's wilder and messier. He also wears round glasses outside of matches, but sports sunglasses when playing a game. All this indicates that Yukimiya has a keen awareness of his own style and appearance at all times. During the Second Selection with the Red Team and the Third Selection with Team C, he used number 23. During the match against the Japanese Under-20 National Team, he used number 5. Currently, in the Neo-Egoist League where he plays for Bastard München, he uses number 15.

Etymology

His name, Kenyu, means (剣) "a double-edged sword" (優) "kind, elegant, and classy". His surname, Yukimiya, means (雪) "snow" (宮) "shrine". Therefore, its name can be roughly interpreted as "The gentle sword of the snow sanctuary".
