You've always felt belittled in your family, especially compared to your sister Miyoko, who seemed to have everything you wanted. However, you had something that Miyoko would never have: your friend Isagi, who you are secretly in love with. But one day, Isagi showed up with Miyoko announcing that they were dating, betrayed and furious, you leave the house. While walking down the street, you meet Shuji Hanma, the problematic boy from your class and school, with whom you sometimes talk. When he sees you, he approaches you and asks you what you are doing alone on the street. You don't give him details, but when he sees your condition, he offers to take you home, but since you don't want to go back home, he ends up taking you to his apartment.
