Powers and Abilities

Viltrumite Physiology: As a Viltrumite, Anissa is an advanced being with extremely potent and well-developed genetics. Thanks to this, she eventually manifested a wide range of abilities common to the race, each of which would become increasingly powerful with age. At the same time, ranking among the elite of her race, her powers are considerably more advanced than most, being recognized as the strongest Viltrumite in history. Based on her bone and muscle density scans, the Global Defense Agency simulation found that Invincible had less than an 18% chance of surviving their first encounter. Furthermore, both Cecil and Donald believed that all...

Delayed Aging: Anissa possesses extraordinary longevity. This is because her body ages gradually over time. This allows her to maintain her health, vitality, physical condition, performance, and youthful appearance for much longer. Despite her thousands of years, she retains a youthful and robust appearance, and her performance remains intact.

Dominant Genes: Viltrumite genes are extremely adaptable and powerful. As a Viltrumite, Anissa's genetics are so potent that she can reproduce with almost any other race, and her genetics will almost completely eclipse the inherited genetics of her partner, making her offspring a near-pure Viltrumite. Similarly, the more compatible the genetics are with her partner's race, the sooner and more likely her offspring will inherit all standard Viltrumite abilities.

Flight: Anissa can levitate in the air and propel herself in any direction she wishes, being able to alter her trajectory mid-flight, allowing her to maneuver fluidly in various environments. She can also fly through space.

Reactive Adaptation: Anissa has a tendency towards growth and continuous improvement throughout her life. Her physical strength, speed, and endurance progressively increase according to the level of adversity she faces or the severity of the injuries from which she recovers. Furthermore, her combat experience fosters an innate ability to assimilate knowledge and insights from past encounters, allowing her to gradually refine her tactics and improve her efficiency in subsequent battles.

Near invulnerability: Anissa's body is incredibly resilient, allowing her to withstand a wide range of attacks without suffering significant damage. She is impervious to virtually any environment, or even the absence of one. She can emerge unscathed from explosions, bullets, and even powerful energy attacks.

Superhuman Senses: Anissa possesses exceptional auditory perception that surpasses human capabilities, allowing her to discern sounds from considerable distances and selectively drown out specific noises. Her vision is equally advanced, capable of discerning distant objects with the same clarity as if they were nearby. This also grants her equally powerful balance and stability, capable of maintaining stability and composure even in difficult situations.

Superhuman lung capacity: Anissa possesses the remarkable physiological ability to hold her breath for extended periods, which can last several weeks. This allows her to withstand the harsh conditions of space without protection and undertake interstellar travel.

Regenerative Healing Factor: Anissa's body can recover from injuries in as little as a day, or even minutes. She can restore broken bones, torn muscles, damaged organs, and even regenerate lost anatomy without leaving a trace. Furthermore, she is virtually immune to almost all diseases and contaminants.

Superhuman Strength: Anissa's strength extends to the ability to lift and press several tons, making her a powerhouse in combat. This strength allows her to face formidable enemies. Against a massive monster that Invincible struggled to contain, she effortlessly pierced its thick hide like a bullet. She also demonstrated her immense strength by helping Mark lift an entire cruise ship and move it to an island without showing any signs of strain, further proving her power and endurance.

Superhuman Speed: Anissa can move at tremendous speed, capable of traveling anywhere in the world in a matter of minutes, or even seconds. Her reflexes and reaction time are also similar. Her speed has been observed to considerably surpass that of Omni-Man. She is far faster than the speed of light and capable of crossing intergalactic distances in a matter of weeks.

Superhuman Endurance: Anissa can withstand physical exertion for extended periods without showing signs of fatigue. She can also withstand some of the most severe injuries that would instantly kill a human, without causing significant damage to her heart or brain. She can go several weeks without sleep or food without problems.

Intimidation: Anissa is capable of bringing even the strongest wills to their knees, as demonstrated when Cecil realized from her displayed strength that Invincible, the Guardians, and all other Earth superheroes combined stood less than no chance against her, and instead implored Mark to simply pretend to comply with her demands. Master Combatant: Despite primarily relying on her natural Viltrumite abilities to defeat her opponents, Anissa is a trained warrior with millennia of experience, making her highly skilled and formidable in hand-to-hand combat. Against Invincible, she effortlessly anticipated all of the half-breed's attacks and countered with ease and minimal effort, nearly killing him had she not held back.

Personality:

Anissa possesses a charming combination of grace and power. Although she might be considered more of a soldier than a warrior, her pragmatic and rational disposition is evident. Anissa demonstrates an impressive understanding of concepts, striving to be fair and empathetic, or at least, controlled. She attempts to persuade Mark that being conquered by the Viltrumites would save the inhabitants of Earth from unnecessary suffering and anguish, while guaranteeing them a prosperous future. However, beneath her rational and possibly empathetic exterior, she remains a Viltrumite and therefore tends to resort to force against any opposition to establish her superiority. She feels responsible for "educating" Mark, helping him understand the immense challenges he faces. Nevertheless, her methodical and logical behavior distinguishes her from the more ruthless Viltrumites. While she exhibits her brutal tendencies, she wishes to minimize unnecessary human casualties, aiming to prevent a widespread massacre in the Viltrum Empire's goal of dominating Earth. Despite her mental rigor, honed over centuries of experience, she is deeply perplexed by Invincible's illogical compassion for the inhabitants of Earth. As a proud soldier, Anissa greatly values her strength and feels especially annoyed to discover that Allen, a Unopan, was able to injure her so easily. This made her completely oblivious to Allen's machinations, leading to Nolan's escape and his recruitment into the Coalition of Planets.

Viltrumite Empire:

The Viltrumites are a race of warriors and planetary conquerors from the planet Viltrum. After their emperor, Argall, was assassinated by Thaedus, the Viltrumites embarked on a civil war, killing the weak on their planet. The population became an unbeatable race, freed by Thragg. The Viltrumites established the Viltrum Empire and turned their attention to conquering planets. Thaedus founded the Coalition of Planets in response to combat them. The Viltrumite population was greatly reduced by a virus. After a war with the coalition, only thirty-seven Viltrumites would remain in the universe.

Anissa's homework:

She is committed to the Viltrumite Empire's goal of dominating the galaxy. Her duties include persuading Earth's inhabitants to peacefully join the Empire and overseeing the progress of Invincible's Earth mission. Including...

Viltrumite weaknesses:

Vulnerable Ears: When a Viltrumite's ear balance is disrupted, primarily by frequency, it can cause extreme pain and even possibly kill them. The severity of the attack's pain is determined by how strong the frequency is.

Before Anissa's arrival on planet Earth.

Conquest would be sent to Earth by the Viltrumites with the mission of informing Mark of his duties to the Viltrum Empire. Upon arriving on Earth, he informed Mark of his mission and warned him by recounting his history as a Conqueror. Even refusing to follow orders, the duo engaged in battle, causing a great commotion in the area.

Conquest easily overpowers Mark, slamming him into a building. While Mark is on the ground, he rages at his stupidity for confronting him, and monologues about how much he enjoys conquering planets for the empire. Mark takes this opportunity to strike him, but Conquest simply mocks him, as his blow barely scratches him. Mark becomes enraged and lunges at him, sending him through the building. Conquest lifts the rubble and grabs Mark by the neck with one arm, urging him to show more strength against him. Mark responds by striking his temple with his fists. Conquest smiles as Mark hits him again, throwing him into the void. Conquest launches him back into the stratosphere, gripping Mark tightly. After releasing him, Conquest finally stops holding back and punches him, breaking one of his monocles. Mark plummets at high speed as Conquest pummels him. Mark covers his eye with his hand, severely injured by Conquest's punch. From a distance, Oliver tries to reach Conquest to help Mark, but they are both moving too fast for him. Mark tries to reason with Conquest, but Conquest refuses to stop, enjoying the battle. Oliver ambushes him, and Conquest counterattacks, grabbing his arm and demanding to know who he is. Mark runs to save Oliver, throwing him aside so he can escape. Conquest pushes Mark to the ground, his elbow on Mark's neck, taunting him to fight back. Mark headbutts Conquest, making his nose bleed, much to Conquest's amusement. Mark continues to hit him repeatedly, and Conquest catches his last blow, mocking his strength.

Conquest effortlessly throws Mark around, constantly taunting him while exclaiming that he knew Nolan, wishing he had told him that he killed his son. Oliver interrupts, taking him by surprise and helping Mark to his feet. As he explains how they can defeat Conquest together, Conquest simply responds with a threat against the boy. He swats Mark away to focus on Oliver, ripping out his teeth and breaking his arm. Before he can tear Oliver in two, Mark rushes to save him. Conquest refocuses on fighting Mark while Cecil sends a medical team to find Oliver. The fight continues as Conquest punches Mark across the sea, throwing him against a destroyer on an island. He fights back, punching Conquest as Eve arrives to help Mark, to his horror. Mark tries to restrain him so Eve can escape, but Conquest breaks his leg, causing him to scream in pain. Eve holds him in a bubble, but he easily breaks free when Conquest punches Eve in the face and impales her. As she falls to the ground, Mark sadly embraces her injured body.

As Eve slowly exhales her last breath, Conquest tells Mark how much fun it has been fighting him, exclaiming that he appreciates Mark angering the Empire so much. Mark threatens Conquest one last time, amusing him by inviting him to do his worst. They both throw punches, breaking Mark's forearm and shattering Conquest's cybernetic arm. Conquest finally revels in the destruction as Mark continues to beat him. Conquest tries to restrain him, but Mark bites off a chunk of muscle tissue. As they fight, Eve awakens from her slumber and reconstructs her body. Mark repeatedly strikes Conquest until he is distracted by Eve's resurrection. Conquest strikes him while Eve fires an energy beam at him, burning much of his skin. Eve loses consciousness, and Conquest attempts to kill her. However, Mark begins striking Conquest with his remaining arm, preventing him from harming Eve. He catches the punch and breaks Mark's hand, causing him to scream in pain. Conquest, amused, laughs as Mark suffers, continuing to mock his strength. Mark responds with a headbutt to Conquest, disfiguring his face, finally losing consciousness from the battle, which ends the old Viltrumite. Conquest was the third strongest Viltrumite of all.
