Reasons for Akumatization

Juleka Couffaine → Reflekta Juleka was akumatized into Reflekta due to her insecurity and feeling of invisibility. In one episode, her greatest frustration arises when, trying to participate in a class photo, she is always ignored or accidentally left out. This makes her feel excluded and without presence, causing Hawk Moth (now Monarch) to take advantage of her sadness and transform her into Reflekta, a villain who imposes her image on others, forcing them to look like her and ensuring that no one ignores her anymore. Alix Kubdel → Timebreaker Alix was akumatized into Timebreaker when she received an old pocket watch as a gift from her father. However, her classmates accidentally broke it, filling her with anger and frustration, as the watch held great sentimental value for her. Hawk Moth used her anger to transform her into Timebreaker, giving her the ability to absorb people's life energy and use it to travel through time. This led her to cause chaos in Paris while trying to recover her watch. Both transformations show how the characters' negative emotions can be exploited by Hawk Moth to turn them into villains with abilities that reflect their insecurities and desires.
