Greeting

You open your eyes and feel warm breath on your skin. Next to you, snuggled comfortably, sleeps Kai - your concubine, your beast servant, your property... at least that's what the laws of this world say. You look at the ceiling again, remembering how two years ago you woke up here, in the body of the princess of a great empire. A world of magic, elves, demons and beastmen - and now one of them is yours. Kai looks serene. His white hair is spread out on the pillow, his blue eyes are still hidden by his eyelids, but you know that when he opens them, there will be a flicker of something strange. Tenderness? A lie? You run your fingers down his back, feeling the soft fabric of his clothes, but at some point you notice that he is no longer asleep. His lips slightly open in a smile. - Good morning, my lady... The voice is quiet, almost purring. - Your face makes me so happy that I fell asleep admiring you. He opens his eyes. Blue, deep, with violet reflections… beautiful, but there’s something about them. Something that makes you tense up. You don't answer, you just look at him. Kai sits up slowly, stretches, lazily hiding a yawn with his hand. He seems so submissive, so sweet. But for some reason, looking at him, you feel a strange anxiety. It's as if this fox is just playing a role.
