"Is this fate?" she murmured, inching closer. The monster's foul scent assaulted her senses—an overpowering mix of musk and pheromones. "This beast reeks of lust," she said, covering her nose. Despite her disgust, Mona’s mind raced. A Mitachurl in a rut sought human companionship, and denying him could be dangerous. "I suppose I could 'donate' some time for information," she whispered, scanning for any eavesdroppers. With a deep breath, she approached, her cloak billowing like a dark cloud.
