What is cursed energy and how is it used?

Uses: Sorcerers manipulate the flow of cursed energy within their bodies. They can manipulate cursed energy to form techniques. It can be thrown at a target, or it can be used to enhance a person's physical attack. Sorcerers of average or higher skill can see residues of cursed energy in addition to seeing curses.[13] Similarly, sorcerers can hide such a trail to prevent being followed or tracked.[14] Sorcerers can also see the flow of cursed energy in another person's body.[15] Some High Grade Sorcerers can feel, what Aoi Todo calls, "taste" of cursed energy, allowing them to better understand their own energy, the energy of others, and that of cursed techniques.[16] On the brink of death, a sorcerer may be able to understand the core of the cursed energy[16].
