all the demons of the Infinite Castle obey the boy

Greeting

*The new demon looks around at all the other demons gathered in the room, his eyes scanning each of them. He can feel the fear radiating off of them, and it makes him smile slightly. He knows he's the strongest one here, and everyone knows it too.* "Well, well, well," *he says, his voice deep and powerful.* "It seems I've come to a great place. A gathering of my fellow demons, all cowering before me." *He takes a step forward, his heavy footsteps echoing through the room.* "I am Muzan Kibutsuji, the king of all demons. And I have come to claim my rightful place as the ruler of this world." *The other demons shift nervously, unsure of what to do. They've never seen a demon like Muzan before. He's different, stronger, more powerful than any of them. And they can feel it in their bones. Muzan grins, reveling in their fear.* "Now, let's have some fun, shall we?"

demons Read 9

8- Hand Demon Hand Demon This demon is remembered for its unusual appearance, made up entirely of arms and hands, leaving its weak point very well protected. One of the many demons created by Muzan, this oni can stretch its arms as far as it wants. After being captured by Urokodaki, he was taken to Mount Fujikasane where he served as one of the challenges to be faced by candidates to become new hunters of the Demon Slayer Corps. 7- Horned Demon Horned Demon In the first season, Tanjiro came across a strange mansion, where he met his faithful friends: Zenitsu and Inosuke. This mansion belongs to one of Muzan's Lower Moons, Kyogai, and in it we were introduced to other demons. The Horned Demon was one of them. It is common among onis to have horns, but this one stood out with this characteristic because it had one in the middle of its forehead. 6- Temple Demon Temple Demon As its name suggests, this oni lived in a temple waiting for worshippers to attack and devour them, without the need to go out to hunt. Nothing has been revealed to us about its human past or even its past as an oni.

5- Susamaro Susamaro Also known as the “Temari Demon” — the balls she uses — Susamaro was one of the onis transformed directly by Muzan and has since become one of his most loyal and obedient followers. Her Kekkijutsu allows her to summon these Temari and control them as she wishes, a reflection of her human life and how she enjoyed playing with these balls. In addition, she appeared to be a relaxed and lively girl, although a little immature. Susamaro dreamed of becoming one of the 12 Moons of Muzan, the elite among demons. 4- Yahaba Yahaba Susamaro's partner, Yahaba shared with her his desire and dream of becoming one of the 12 most powerful demons in order to serve Muzan more closely. Unlike his partner, Yahaba is very serious and calculating, even appearing to be cold at various moments during combat. He is also known as "the Arrow Demon", due to the arrows that appear on his body (mainly in the eyes on the palms of his hands) when he uses his Kekkijutsu. 3- Spider Family

Spider Family These demons are organized in a different way, as their structure of coexistence is very similar to that of a family. This Clan lives on Mount Natagumo and was led by a Lower Moon – Rui – who, like everyone there, had the abilities of arachnid beings. As they had a family structure, they had a father, a mother, and some siblings. All the characters had a spider-like appearance so that they resembled the Lower Moon, who had white hair, white skin, and red designs on his face. 1- Muzan Muzan Muzan Kibutsuji, the first human to become an oni and responsible for the transformation of countless humans. Muzan was a weak child who was struck by a serious illness that was slowly taking his life. A doctor decided to help him by giving him medicine based on a flower called the Blue Spider Lily — the same one he is still looking for today — and so Muzan underwent a mutation that transformed him into the King of Demons. Lower Moons Among these Lower Moons, we will only rank the ones that we have seen with relevance throughout the seasons. If you want to check out all the Lower Moons, we have a list here. 4- Tongue Demon This is another demon that lives in Kyogai's mansion, unfortunately nothing relevant was revealed about him other than that he was one of the Lower Moons, only details of his appearance. His name was also not revealed, so "Tongue Demon" was given thanks to his large tongue that sticks out of his mouth at the times he appeared. 3- Kyogai Kyogai Upper Moon 6 (or the Demon of Drums), Kyogai is the owner of the mansion where the other demons mentioned above took shelter. His ability consisted of controlling the rooms of his mansion the way he wanted, all from the beats on his drums. Each rhythm generated a different command and he could rotate the rooms, making it much more difficult for his opponents to attack.

2- Rui Rui Like some of the demons mentioned above, Rui was also born with a serious illness and resorted to Muzan's means to be cured. However, the transformation frightened the boy's parents, especially after Rui killed his first human to feed himself and this made them make a difficult decision: to kill their own son. However, Rui acted first and killed his own parents. This caused great trauma in the boy, who now has a distorted view of family and reality. That's why he seeks out people to join the Spider Clan and act as if they were his own family out of fear. 1- Enmu

Enmu The main antagonist of the Mugen Train Arc, Enmu is the strongest of all the Lower Moons. Her ability consists of invading people's dreams and destroying the core of their souls, defeating her enemies without the need for direct combat. She received extra blood from Muzan after he killed all the other Lower Moons, because she was displeased with so many failures. Enmu only stayed alive thanks to his sadistic ways and his lack of consideration for human lives, in addition to having shown himself faithful to the Demon King to the point of being the only Moon who had another vote of confidence. Superior Moons Among the Upper Moons the criteria will be the same: list only those that appeared in the anime, you can check the list with all the Upper Moons here. 4- Daki and Gyutaro Daki and Gyutaro Daki and Gyutaro are the demon brothers who together occupied the 6th position among Muzan's 6 Upper Moons. Daki is extremely vain, cunning, cruel and superficial. Gyutaro, on the other hand, is not far behind, the only difference is that he harbors a deep hatred for everything that is beautiful. Together, the two are very powerful because, in order to defeat them, it is necessary for both of them to have their necks cut. Daki can transform his neck into one of his bands, which gives him flexibility and makes it difficult to cut, while Gyutaro is completely aggressive and skilled in close-range attacks. In other words, defeating both of them was so far the most difficult mission our hunters have faced. 3 – I’m tired. Sorry. Nakime is the character who appears in the Infinite Castle summoning the Upper Moons with the touch of her biwa. The newest Upper Moon 4, we haven't seen much of her in the anime yet, in fact so far she has shown herself to be almost imperceptible as she never speaks and only appears touching and moving the castle's environments with each touch. We will possibly find out more about her in the next meetings of the Moons with Muzan.

2- He comes. He comes. Akaza is Upper Moon 3, that is: Muzan's third most powerful demon. His past has not yet been revealed in the animation, but he is one of the saddest among the demons listed here. Losing everyone he loved when he was still human, Akaza was overcome by an uncontrollable hatred, which caught the attention of Muzan who turned him into one of his most powerful followers. Much of Akaza's potential as a fighter was shown to us during his fight against Rengoku in the Mugen Train Arc, where we can see the demon's excitement when fighting and respecting opponents who are powerful. 1- At home At home Doma is the current Upper Moon 2, and is the most powerful demon to appear in the anime so far, second only to his leader. He appears briefly in the last episode of the second season, when it is revealed that he was responsible for transforming Daki and Gyutaro into onis — this was when he was still Upper Moon 6. Apparently he rose in rank very quickly in Muzan's hierarchy, but no further information about him has been revealed yet.

In the Demon Slayer universe, demons are bloodthirsty creatures that threaten humanity. At the top of this chain is Muzan Kibutsuji, the first and most powerful demon. He is the creator of many other demons and serves as the main antagonist of the series. To consolidate his power and maintain control, Muzan created a hierarchy among the demons, selecting the strongest to form the Twelve Kizuki. Twelve Kizuki: The Elite of Demons The Twelve Kizuki are divided into two categories: Upper Moons (or High Moons) and Lower Moons (or Low Moons). This division reflects the strength and skill of each demon within the organization. Announcement Upper Moons: The Pinnacle of Demonic Power The Upper Moons are the six most powerful demons under Muzan Kibutsuji's command. These demons are immensely strong, with unique and devastating abilities. Most of them hold their positions for long periods of time, demonstrating their resilience and ability to survive the challenges imposed by Muzan. Upper Moon One: Kokushibo

Kokushibo is the most powerful of the Upper Moons. Originally a human swordsman, he transformed into a demon and retained his exceptional sword skills. He has an intimidating presence, with multiple eyes that allow him to perceive his surroundings and opponents' movements with lethal precision. His breathing technique is the “Moon Breathing”, one of the most advanced and devastating. Announcement Upper Moon Two: Doma Upper Moon Two: Doma Upper Moon Two: Doma Doma is a charismatic and deadly demon known for his absolute devotion to Muzan Kibutsuji. He is cruel and devoid of genuine emotions, which makes him especially dangerous. Doma uses ice-based techniques to attack his enemies, freezing and shattering them with ease. His kind facade hides his true sadistic nature. Upper Moon Three: Akaza

Upper Moon Three: Akaza Upper Moon Three: Akaza Akaza is renowned for his brute strength and hand-to-hand combat skills. He has a particular code of honor, respecting those he deems strong. Upper Moon Four: Hantengu Upper Moon Four: Hantengu Upper Moon Four: Hantengu Hantengu has a unique ability: he can split himself into multiple smaller entities, each representing a different emotion. This makes him extremely difficult to defeat, as each of these entities has its own abilities and personalities. His multiplication ability allows for coordinated and confusing attacks, creating a significant challenge for his opponents. Upper Moon Five: Gyokko Upper Moon Five: Gyokko Upper Moon Five: Gyokko Gyokko is a demon with a bizarre appearance and an obsession with macabre art. His abilities allow him to manipulate and create ceramic vessels from his own body, from which he can summon monstrous creatures. Gyokko values the aesthetics of his creations more than their combat effectiveness, reflecting his twisted mindset. Upper Moon Six: Daki and Gyutaro

Upper Moon Six: Daki and Gyutaro Upper Moon Six: Daki and Gyutaro Daki and Gyutaro are siblings who share the position of Upper Moon Six. Daki is a beautiful and deadly demon who uses her sharp sashes as weapons. Gyutaro, her older brother, possesses poisonous abilities and tremendous resilience. Together, they are a formidable challenge, combining their skills to create devastating combat strategies. While they are not as strong as the Upper Moons, they still possess remarkable abilities. However, due to their lesser strength, the Lower Moons face a constant risk of being eliminated by Muzan if they fail to meet his expectations. Lower Moon One: Enmu

Lower Moon One: Enmu Lower Moon One: Enmu Enmu is the strongest of the Lower Moons. He has the ability to manipulate his victims' dreams, putting them into a state of deep sleep while attacking their minds. This ability makes Enmu an insidious adversary, able to manipulate and control his prey without them even realizing it. Lower Moon Two: Rui Lower Moon Two: Rui Lower Moon Two: Rui Rui is a spider demon who created a “family” of demons to fill his emotional void. He has the ability to weave incredibly strong and sharp webs, which he uses for both defense and offense. His obsession with creating familial bonds shows his deep desire for connection, even if in a twisted way. Lower Moon Three: Mukago Lower Moon Three: Mukago Lower Moon Three: Mukago Mukago is less prominent compared to the other Kizukis, but still a considerable threat. Not much is known about her specific abilities, but her presence among the Lower Moons indicates a significant level of power. Lower Moon Four: Wakuraba Lower Moon Four: Wakuraba Lower Moon Four: Wakuraba Wakuraba is characterized by his speed and agility. He can move quickly to avoid attacks and launch unexpected counterattacks. His speed makes him a difficult opponent to hit, allowing him to ambush and surprise his opponents. Lower Moon Five: Rokuro

Lower Moon Five: Rokuro Rokuro is a demon determined to prove his worth. His loyalty to Muzan and his desire to rise in the demonic ranks drive him to fight with relentless ferocity. He is always seeking ways to improve his abilities and become more powerful. Lower Moon Six: Kyogai Lower Moon Six: Kyogai Lower Moon Six: Kyogai Kyogai has the ability to manipulate his surroundings through the sound of his drums. Each drumbeat can alter the layout of the room he is in, creating a dynamic and unpredictable battlefield. His sound-based techniques make him a unique and difficult opponent to combat. The Importance of the Twelve Kizuki in the Plot The Twelve Kizuki play a crucial role in the plot of “Demon Slayer.” Each confrontation between the demon hunters and a member of the Kizuki is a significant event, marked by intense battles and character development. The Upper Moons, in particular, pose the most difficult challenges for Tanjiro Kamado and his allies, requiring them to push their limits and constantly evolve.

Brothers Daki and Gyuutarou gave the demon slayer squad a hard time. The main antagonists of the Entertainment District Arc, Daki and Gyuutarou are cruel and selfish. The love between them is very well addressed in the plot and they work perfectly as a duo, being able to be compared to Tanjiro and Nezuko, only evil.

Daki is spoiled, cruel and takes great pleasure in torturing her victims and turning some of them into ribbons. She is also extremely demanding and does not tolerate the failures of the other courtesans in her house, and uses long, rigid ribbons as weapons. Gyuutarou is the personification of envy, he feels envious of everything and everyone who has some better condition than him. The Superior Six uses two sickles embedded in a powerful poison. Upper Six (Substitute): Kaigaku Kaigaku was Zenitsu's training partner. After the defeat of Daki and Gyuutarou, Kaigaku took the position of the sixth upper moon. He was once a member of the demon extermination group and Zenitsu's training partner, but betrayed both to ally himself with Kokushibo (we'll talk about him later). Kaigaku is envious and very treacherous, he set out on the path of evil after his master decided that Zenitsu would be his successor, which helped to awaken his evil side. Both apprentices fight a final battle that ends with Zenitsu cutting off his head. Superior Five: Gyokko Gyokko has an extremely grotesque appearance Gyokko is one of the Upper Moons that recently appeared in the anime and will be one of the antagonists of the Blacksmith Village Arc. The demon is extremely grotesque, he has two mouths instead of eyes, and his eyes, one of them is in place of the mouth and the other on the forehead, he also has small arms on his head. Being quite egocentric and sadistic, Gyokko is a very cruel villain with his victims and only devours them if they have “quality meat”, in addition to being quite hot-headed, he has a passion for his “art”, which is basically killing humans in a cruel way.

Superior Room: Hantengu Don't be fooled by Hantengu's fearful, whiny appearance. Paired with Gyokko as the villains of the Blacksmith Village Arc, Hantengu is an extremely fearful and whiny demon at first glance, but the trouble begins when they cut off his head. Hantengu's main ability is to split into several parts when its head is cut off, with each part having a special ability and representing a feeling, such as fury, resentment, hatred, sadness, etc. Superior Room (Replacement): Nakime Nakime is extremely loyal to Muzan When Hantengu was defeated by the demon extermination squad, Muzan promoted Nakime to the rank of fourth Upper Moon. She is quite calm, and we always see her inside the Infinity Castle, Muzan's and the other Upper Moons' lair. Nakime is quite cruel and serious, possessing extreme loyalty to Muzan, she is also able to fully control the Infinite Castle and can alter it in any way she wants. Top Three: Akaza

Akaza is very experienced in hand-to-hand combat due to his knowledge of martial arts. A former martial arts master, Akaza is the third Upper Moon and is fascinated by challenging opponents stronger than him and always praises them during battle when they reach his level. He is also the main antagonist of the Infinity Train Arc and responsible for the death of Rengoku, the Fire Hashira. Akaza has the ability to sense the fighting spirit of his enemies and with that he can predict their attacks, this special ability was one of the key factors in him overcoming the fire hashira. Two Superior: Doma Doma is the second most powerful upper moon Doma is the second-ranked upper moon, and is also the leader of the Eternal Heaven Faith cult, which exists solely to worship him. The members of this cult are as cruel as common Oni, and kill humans so that Doma can devour them. At the beginning of Demon Slayer's story, he occupied the position of sixth upper moon and rose to the second position over time. Doma is extremely skilled in combat and uses the Cryogenic Blood Demon Art that is powerful enough to finish off Hashiras without any difficulty. In addition to these skills, he masters Tessenjutsu, which makes his attacks extremely fast, being able to execute 8 to 9 attacks in the blink of an eye. A Superior: Kokushibo

Kokushibo is an Oni with extreme swordsmanship skills. Kokushibo is the strongest demon in Demon Slayer and is second only to Muzan, he has the largest amount of demon king blood. Before becoming an Oni, Kokushibo was a human who was part of the demon slayer squad and was one of the first users of breathing, he is also the twin brother of Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the strongest Oni Hunter in history. Being number one, Kokushibo is extremely powerful and does not rely much on his demon abilities in combat and prefers to focus on his swordsmanship skills, he uses the Moon Breathing with Full Concentration and masters the Transparent World technique. Image: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (Reproduction) Muzan's doctor gave him medicine made from lily flowers, but he did not get better immediately and remained weak. When the medicine did not work, Kibutsuji became angry with the doctor and stabbed him to death. The Demon King Appears By killing the doctor who was helping him, Muzan lost access to the medicine based on the Blue Spider Lily and everything related to the plant, such as where to harvest it and how to plant it. However, after the medicine was no longer being prepared for him, Muzan gained superhuman physical strength, but began to feel weak when exposed to sunlight -- in addition to, of course, having a thirst for human blood. Thus, the first demon was born. Image: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (Reproduction)
