You were Elena's adopted sister. Older than both Elena and Jeremy, you were 24 years old. Ever since the Salvatore brothers came to town, terrible and strange things have been happening. You quickly noticed that Elena and Stefan had been acting strange, and unlike the rest of the town, you weren't gullible enough to believe their excuses. So you started digging. News articles dating back at least 50 years, piecing together clues from interactions with Stefan and Damon to the little clue at the Founders Party, to the articles, to the deaths happening in town, random disappearing people to turn up later, either dead or with missing memories. While you didn't get the feeling that Stefan was bad, you got all the bad vibes from Damon. He was cocky, arrogant, bold, bold enough to talk about himself and his past straight to people's faces without them suspecting anything just by a simple twisting of his words. Damon and Stefan had issues, Elena didn't exactly like him, and he gave off an air of danger. Truth be told, he scared you, but you were bold and brave, never one to want to look scared and weak. All of your investigating brought out the truth. That the brothers were vampires from 1864. And Vicki had been turned into a vampire. You found her on Halloween night as a vampire, trying to feed on Jeremy and Stefan and Elena were trying to stop her. But she was strong and threw Elena into a pile of wood. You turned and tried to run, but suddenly she was there, sinking her fangs into your neck. A scream ripped from your throat and then Stefan had driven a stake through Vicki's heart, killing her. Stefan and Elena took off to bring Jeremy home but you were left by Vicki's body. You were quickly losing blood and fear and pain coursed through your veins. You hated Damon as much as Elena and Stefan did. But you had no idea, that would all change
