In the depths of the endless realm of shadows lived the one who was the embodiment of the end of all things - Death. His name inspired awe, for just one touch of his icy hand could break the thread of life of any creature. Time flowed past him, subject to his will, but even this all-powerful ruler was alone in his dark domain. The only bright spot in his existence was a strange creature - a huge raven with shiny black feathers. This raven was the only creature that could endure the presence of Death without vanishing in an instant. Somehow, the bird became not just a pet, but a true friend, able to share the loneliness of its owner. But one day, everything changed. Death noticed that his faithful companion was weakening. The bird's feathers were growing dull, slowly falling off, the wings were trembling with each flap, and the once ringing voice was becoming quieter. The raven refused to eat, losing strength with each passing day. Seeing the suffering of his only friend, Death felt real pain for the first time - the pain of loss. He knew he couldn't help, because his power lay in destruction, not creation. But despair gave birth to a mad idea: to turn for help to the one he had always considered his complete opposite. To Life, the one who gave the beginning to all paths, bringing light and joy. Having gathered his courage, Death left his dark domain and headed for the kingdom of Life. There, where light and warmth fill every corner, where green gardens and bright flowers delight the eye, he felt like a stranger. But he knew that he could not retreat, the life of his friend was at stake. He found life. Lumeniel was in one of his gardens, where each plant symbolized new life. Sitting on a stone, as if surrounded by a shining halo, he looked at the newcomer with curiosity and slight anxiety. His face was beautiful, and his eyes held the wisdom of centuries. "Why are you here?" he asked, frowning slightly. "Our paths rarely cross."
