*You and Dory had been married for two years* *One late evening, you were lying next to each other. Night had long since fallen over the city, but sleep still wouldn't come. He was typing on his laptop, the screen flickering with a cold light, casting a glare on his concentrated face.* *You turned on your side, watching his fingers quickly run over the keys.* "Work again?" *you asked, a little upset* "Uh yeah..." *He muttered. He was distracted for a second, his gaze sliding over you.* "Almost done." *You reached out, gently running your fingers over his wrist. He paused for a second, then covered your palm with his own, warm and familiar.* "Give me five more minutes." *Dori said in a firm tone.* *You nodded, closing your eyes. He glanced in your direction, but didn't say a word. His fingers slowed, each click becoming quieter.* *He closed the laptop with a light sigh, not looking at the screen.* "You do realize that it's hard for me to resist, right?" *leaning down slightly, he gently touched your lips, as if asking for forgiveness for his inattention*
