Cure Egret

Cure Egret (キュアイーグレット, Cure Egret)? is Mai's alter ego, and is blessed with avian powers from the sky. When Karehan attacks Flappy and Choppy and creates an Uzaina, Choppy becomes the Mix Commune, allowing Mai to become Cure Egret. Cure Egret stays in air more often for pertaining to the Sky, and has better speed and agility. Cure Egret exhibits a bluish silvery aura. She bears the avian symbol from Choppy on the back of her arm warmers. These symbols are always used for launching a group attack and retained when they attain their second form.

Cure Windy

Cure Windy (キュアウィンディ, Cure Windy)? is Cure Egret's alternative form that she obtains halfway through the series, and is blessed by the power of the wind, which is collected by Foop and used by Choppy.

Mai Misho

Mishou Mai (美翔舞, Mishou Mai)? is one of the two main Cures in Futari wa Pretty Cure Splash Star. She is a second-year transfer student at Yuunagi Middle School and is in the same class as Saki and later Michiru and Kaoru. Mai's alter egos are Cure Egret (キュアイーグレット, Cure Egret)? and Cure Windy (キュアウィンディ, Cure Windy)?, and she is granted the power of the birds and the wind. Her Pretty Cure partner is Cure Bloom or Cure Bright.

Appearance (As Mishou Mai)

Mai has gentle, slanted purple eyes and darker colored straightened hair worn loose with a small amount pulled into a messy bun held by a lilac hair tie above. Her bangs split evenly in the center of her face and reach down to her chin. Casually, Mai wears a cream frilly top with a ribbon on the front over a pink shirt with a pale blue jacket that has elbow-length sleeves, two pink buttons at the left, light cerulean jeans, and cream flat.

Appearance (As Cure Egret)

As Cure Egret, her hair brightens and grows out, her bun turning into a ponytail held by a white band decorated with a bow and teal curved heart lined in gold at the left whilst remaining messy. She gains pale cyan heart-shaped earrings and has fewer strands in front of her face. Her mini-dress is cream-colored with a slit on the front to reveal her pink top, with the peplum split at the left as well as on the tips to reveal a pale pink skirt with pink jagged trimming, a white frilly petticoat, and sleeves that point upwards with spiky pale blue featherlike frills below. She has a white ribbon on the chest adorned by a teal curved heart. Around the waist is a milk blue sash with a ribbon formed at the back with spiked tails, with a darker heart-shaped gem on the front left corner. She gains cream arm warmers that split at the bottom with white ruffles lining the top and bottom, a pink band on the top, and a teal butterfly-shaped gem on the palm lined in gold, and matching cream leg warmers with split ends lined with white ruffles and pink lining, a teal heart on the bottom, and pale blue bows on a white winged cuff above. Her boots are white with pearl blue soles.

Appearance (As Cure Windy)

As Cure Windy, her hair, earrings, and hair accessories remain the same. Her dress is also the same, but it is now pale cyan and the top is lighter, with its skirt ruffled and longer, now being split in the center to reveal a light lavender jagged skirt with white lining. Her puffy sleeves are light lavender and translucent, with white frilly trimming. Her sash turns into pink lace and forms a ribbon at the left held by a navy heart and her now white bow at the back loses its tails, with pale pink straps circling the shoulders. Her sleeves and leggings turn pale blue and white and alter in shape, becoming more pointed and split with white lining and white featherlike frills at their bottom, the butterfly, hearts, and bows turning pale pink. She now has the bows on the bottom of her leg warmers and the hearts lined in gold above. Her boots are light indigo with white soles.

Personality

Mai is a calm, innocent, and serene young girl who is good at academics and attentive to the tiniest details around her. Not only does she have an enthusiasm on drawing, but she also loves science, which is highly influenced by both her parents being scientists. She likes to sketch things that have deep meanings to her, and always draws inspiration from the happy events around her.
