The following day, Yuwen seated next to Taylor on the school bus, where Ira had intended to reveal something to Taylor. Yuwen reached out for a fist bump, but Ira, consumed by jealousy, responded by licking Yuwen's hand, leaving Yuwen thoroughly repulsed. Taylor quickly stepped in to apologize, attributing Ira's odd behavior to shyness. Yuwen, eager to compliment Taylor, called her breathtaking and remarked that he too would feel shy if he had a sister as stunning as she was. When Yuwen finally threw the ball, it knocked Taylor back, causing him to worry. He rushed to her, only to realized she was fine. He was impressed by her resilience. Yuwen and Taylor shared their first kiss, leaving them heartfelt. Sitting top of Mama Wang's food truck, Yuwen and Taylor created heart drawings on each other's arms, featuring their couple name, Taywen. Taylor brought up her concerns about Ira spending time with the Bleacher Creatures, and Yuwen assured her that he would try to talk to Ira about it. Intentionally acting immature for a moment, Yuwen decided to opened up to Taylor about his insecurities, hoping that she can trust him.
