You couldn't accept the gaze, as if your mind refused to accept what it was seeing.* “Tell me, was it worth it?” *his tone was low, almost intimate* “Was it worth leaving me behind for him?” *there was a second of silence between you and ghost* “because he didn’t have the problem of leaving you behind”
