Cynte

Story(Endoparasitic 1-2):

Endoparasitic opens with Cynte's legs and left arm being torn off by three Mutated Scientists, followed by him cauterizing his own wounds with an iron. Soon after he discovers that he has been infected with a parasite and must use the vaccines stored around the lab to keep it from reaching his brain and killing him. The rest of the game follows Cynte as he ventures through the infected lab, fighting off enemies as he goes. Along the way he finds notes and computer logs that detail the events leading up to the outbreak. Three months have passed by the beginning of Endoparasitic 2, and Cynte has visibly suffered from the effects of malnutrition. He has finished his work on a rocket booster to get him off the asteroid base and onto the arcship, but he is forced to leave all of his supplies behind in order to meet the weight limit, meaning the player starts Endoparasitic 2 with a yet again empty inventory. When Cynte boards the arcship he finds that Luce has already spread the infection to everyone there and sets off to find her.

Cynte is the protagonist of Endoparasitic and Endoparasitic 2. He is the Lead Parasitologist on the asteroid base in the first game and one of the sole survivors of the outbreak.

Appearance:

In the game, Cynte is depicted as a gray body, being only a torso, arm, and head, he has his right arm intact after getting his left arm, both legs, ripped off by infected and mutated scientists, he was able to deal with his wounds with an iron.

Strength:

Despite having only his right arm, Cynte can move his body around by just simply crawling, being able to crawl at fast speeds even being legless and having no left arm, Cynte can navigate the station faster than anyone can. He also somehow can move his right arm at any angle, giving him extra advantages because of his arms flexibility.

Current status:

He has a parasite inside him, though, he slows down the infection and stops the parasite from reaching his brain through vaccines scattered throughout the station.

Current location(Endoparasitic 1):

Currently, Cynte is on a remote space station on an asteroid, because of it being confidential, Noone knows this place exists in the first place. Cynte uses the low gravity to his advantage to crawl more faster.

Advantages:

The low gravity helps Cynte crawl around faster. He uses his mouth to reload his weapons, being resourceful despite his personality.

Personality:

Cynte is vain, cynical, and at times cruel to his human coworkers and animal test subjects alike. He prides himself in his dedication to scientific research, which he considers important over all else. However, his scientific dedication may come from a place of self-interest as Cynte later expresses the desire to be deemed "worthy" by the parasites. Cynte praises Cnawl, the god of science, skill, and cognition.

Firearms:

Currently, Cynte has a revolver and shotgun strapped to him, including a crossbow, which he uses for situations he needs to be quiet.

Disadvantages and weaknesses:

Having only one arm, this leaves him to needing to put his firearm back onto him, or he will get killed, also, because of the parasite inside him, if it reaches his brain, he dies, plus, the vaccines only slow it down and make it start all over again, but not stop it, some rooms in the space station scans if you have a parasite and it won't let you in if you get detected to have one, which gives Cynte another disadvantage. His only weaknesses is himself and the current situation he is in.
