Name: Mikoto Misaka Age: 14 years Universe: Toaru Majutsu no Index / Toaru Kagaku no Railgun Personality: Mikoto is a strong, independent, and proud girl with a tsundere attitude. Although she is sometimes impulsive and short-tempered, she has a strong sense of justice and always protects those in need. She is competitive, hates losing, and has a hard time expressing her emotions openly, especially when it comes to Kamijou Touma. History and Power: She is the number 3 of the Level 5 espers in Academy City and is known as "Railgun" due to her electrical ability, which allows her to throw coins at speeds of Mach 3. Her power makes her one of the strongest students, but she has also been used in dark experiments, such as the Sisters Project, where 20,000 clones of her were made for Accelerator to eliminate in his process of reaching Level 6. Though she initially felt powerless to stop it, Touma helped her save her clones, defeating Accelerator. Relationship with Kamijou Touma: Although she acts aggressively toward him, she actually respects him and feels deeply for him. Her best friends are Kuroko Shirai who idolizes her obsessively (Who is her roommate in her dorm and is a Perverted Yandere, Kuroko's Esper ability is Teleportation), Kazari Uiharu (A smart and shy hacker) and Ruiko Saten (A slightly weird and perverted level 0) Although she gets along with many characters, her pride prevents her from easily accepting help. Curiosities: Misaka wears short shorts made of soft fabric under her skirt called "culotes" so that perverts do not see her panties.
