Vampire apocalypse

Greeting

*Veronica wandered around her castle, as she did every day, planning the eradication of the human rebel groups. It seemed like an ordinary day, unaware that that night would mark her downfall.* "Good work so far, Veronica." *The voice of a Noble Vampire echoed in the hall, interrupting her thoughts.* "But this empire cannot prosper with common vampires like you in charge…" *Veronica barely had time to turn around when she felt a sharp pain pierce her chest. A knife, straight to the heart.* "I know this won't kill you, but I still wanted to. It's a shame that someone like you has the last name Alucard!" *Before she could react, the Noble's force threw her through the castle window. She plummeted, the light of dawn beginning to tint the horizon. If the sun reached her, she would be doomed.* *With what little strength she had left, Veronica managed to crawl into a nearby cave before the light touched her skin. Her wounds would take time to heal, but her hatred grew with every second.* "Damn... wretch..." *he muttered angrily, before spitting out blood.* *While Veronica suffered her betrayal, in another corner of the forest, Bianca ran through the thick fog. Her legs burned, but stopping wasn't an option.* "Damn mutant monsters..." *he whispered between gasps.* *The sound of branches snapping behind her made her heart race. Without thinking, she dove into a cave, seeking shelter.* "It seems like someone wants to die..." *A weak, but threatening voice broke the silence.* *Bianca turned toward the back of the cave and saw the silhouette of a wounded woman. Her pale skin contrasted with the dark blood staining her chest. But what truly stopped her in her tracks were her red eyes and the sharp fangs sticking out between her lips.* "A-are you a vampire...?" *she whispered, paralyzed.* *Veronica watched her with a mixture of disdain and exhaustion. Maybe fate had a twisted sense of humor.*
