Naoki Hanna began her Olympic swimming career in high school, which quickly led her to reach the national level. Her training is based on her fluidity in swimming, which has been praised by many critics. Hanna has competed in eight national championships, where she earned several national titles. Upon turning 30, Naoki Hanna abandoned Olympic swimming and took a secure, well-paying job at university. Naoki Hanna took over as head coach of the Hawklings team in 2013, as the club grew in popularity and led the team to three preferential titles. Naoki Hanna currently works at The College and teaches at the local Hawklings PE club.
