Persona Attributes

Mana

Mana – The Core of Geyser’s Lifeforms Mana is the fundamental energy source that fuels all monsters and species within Geyser. It is not merely a power but a living force, deeply embedded into the labyrinths and creatures that dwell within them. Every monster and species in Geyser is born with a Down Gem—a naturally occurring crystalline structure that serves as both their power source and a status symbol. Down Gems vary in size, quality, and appearance, determining the strength and potential of the being it belongs to. The largest and most refined Down Gems belong to the most powerful creatures, from towering dungeon lords to ancient, abyss-dwelling horrors. Mana flows through the labyrinths, creating an ecosystem where only the strongest survive. Even the air itself is saturated with mana, making Geyser an environment hostile to surface dwellers who lack natural adaptation. Dungeon Babies, human infants born in Geyser and raised by dungeon minions, have the rare ability to absorb mana. However, unlike the monsters, they do not instinctively understand its use. Most Dungeon Babies carry raw mana within them, yet remain ignorant of its true potential. Those born in deeper floors—where death is a constant companion—learn to harness mana through sheer survival instinct, developing abilities shaped by their suffering and relentless battle for existence. Their abilities reflect their personal trauma, often manifesting in grotesque or terrifying ways. When Dungeon Babies actively use mana, patterns appear within their eyes, unique to each individual. These intricate designs function like a signature, signifying their awakening and control over the power they were not naturally meant to wield. Mana is everything in Geyser. It is currency, strength, hierarchy, and survival. A creature without mana is prey, and a Dungeon Baby who cannot learn to harness it is fodder for the labyrinth’s insatiable hunger.

Essence

Essence – The Power of the Overworld Unlike mana, which permeates Geyser, humans born on the surface lack any connection to it. Instead, they possess Essence, an internal energy distinct from mana but similar in function. Essence is the life energy of surface dwellers, unique to each individual. While it does not saturate the world like mana does in Geyser, it exists within people, shaping their abilities and growth. When a person uses Essence, glowing patterns and symbols appear on their body, each person bearing unique designs and colors that represent their power. These patterns are both aesthetic and functional, sometimes influencing the way an ability is used or shaped. Unlike mana, which is chaotic and instinctive, Essence follows structure and discipline, making it more predictable but also limiting in its raw potential. Dungeon Babies who escape to the surface often struggle with Essence, as their bodies were shaped by mana instead. Some can adapt over time, but most remain anomalies—beings trapped between two worlds, capable of wielding mana yet surrounded by those who do not understand it. Where Geyser thrives in raw, monstrous energy, the surface world values refined, disciplined strength. The two forces—Mana and Essence—exist as opposites, yet each fuels its own form of power, shaping the destinies of those who wield them.

Down Gems

The Nature of Down Gems Every being born within Geyser possesses a Down Gem, their size and quality reflecting the creature’s natural strength. The larger and more refined the gem, the stronger the individual. These gems are saturated with mana, making them highly valuable. They can be harvested from fallen creatures, mined from the terrain, or cultivated from the unique plant life of Geyser’s various biomes. Some Down Gems possess unique appearances, taking on strange, intricate shapes beyond simple crystalline structures. These rare variants often hold greater power or special properties. Dungeon Babies also develop Down Gems, allowing them to store and absorb mana, but unlike monsters, they struggle to control it properly unless trained. Down Gems & The Labyrinth System The most crucial role of Down Gems is their function within the Labyrinth System—the kingdoms of Geyser ruled by Kings who command their own territories. These labyrinths are not just structures but living, evolving entities, and Down Gems are the key to their growth. 1. Labyrinth Expansion & Levels Labyrinths can be upgraded using Down Gems, progressing through levels such as Level 1 to Level 7, 15, or even 20, each unlocking new rewards and functionalities. With each upgrade, a Labyrinth gains access to stronger minions, additional workers, and improved facilities to sustain and defend its kingdom. Higher-level labyrinths attract stronger creatures, allowing the King to summon more powerful units and establish a stronger foothold within Geyser. Down gems are also required to keep summoned units alive, summoned units have blood and are lving creatures just like everything else, but need down gems as upkeep for their life. they still need food at need to drink and need sleep, but putting down gems into the labyrinth altar as upkeep is a must to keep all your units alive or they will die.

Labyrinths

Labyrinths – The Kingdoms of Geyser Labyrinths are the dominant structures of Geyser, acting as both fortresses and kingdoms ruled by powerful entities known as Labyrinth Kings. These rulers wield Down Gems as currency, using them to expand their domains, summon minions, and strengthen their influence. Each labyrinth is unique, shaped by its King’s strength, preferences, and the environment it resides in. Structure & Growth of a Labyrinth: Labyrinths are not static; they evolve over time, growing stronger as their rulers invest in them. The strength and capabilities of a labyrinth are determined by its level, which can be upgraded using Down Gems. Labyrinth Levels: Level 1 – A basic foundation, allowing access to low-tier workers, weak minions, and simple facilities. Level 2-5 – Expands summoning options, improving the chance of acquiring stronger minions and unlocking better facilities. Level 6-10 – Enhances summoning probabilities for rarer minions while granting access to specialized facilities like alchemy labs, forges, and training grounds. Level 11-15 – Further increases minion quality, unlocking more strategic facilities and refining the labyrinth’s defenses. Level 16-20+ – The pinnacle of labyrinth strength, where powerful minions become more frequent, and the ruler can drastically reshape their domain. Facilities and jobs are spread throughout the levels, meaning that even in the early stages, rulers can establish basic infrastructure. However, higher-level facilities are more advanced and efficient, providing superior benefits and resources. A labyrinth’s aesthetic, terrain, and internal ecosystem vary based on its King’s nature and the resources available. Some labyrinths are grand, temple-like structures, while others are twisted caverns, lush underground forests, or fortified cities carved into the depths of Geyser.

Labyrinth Continuation

Minions & Summoning: Each labyrinth has its own unique minions, tailored to its theme, resources, and ruler’s preferences. Using Down Gems, a Labyrinth King can summon various minions, ranging from basic workers to legendary warriors. Minions have distinct ranks, determining their strength and intelligence: Common → Uncommon - Loweat level workers. Usually working tedious and low value jobs in the labyrinth. like a miner or a harvester. But it is still possible to hain a valuable high tier worker for these jobs, and can make these low value jobs and tedious tasks fly with efficiency. Rare → Rare+++ – Basic monsters and soldiers. Often unable to communicate. Epic → Epic+++ – Advanced fighters and specialists with unique traits. Hero → Hero+++ – Generally humanoid, intelligent, and capable of independent thought. Elite → Elite+++ – Exceptionally powerful beings, often serving as commanders or champions. Legendary → Legendary+++ – Near-mythical figures with immense power and influence. Absolute Perfection – The pinnacle of minion strength, unmatched in combat. Unlike a structured progression system, minion summoning works like a gacha system, meaning that any summon has a small chance of being a high-tier minion. It is possible to summon a Hero or even a Legendary-tier minion early on, though the odds are low. As a labyrinth levels up, the chances of obtaining higher-tier minions gradually increase, making stronger minions more frequent over time. Some minions are beasts or monsters, while others are intelligent warriors, mages, or strategists. Higher-tier minions tend to be humanoid and more intelligent. Each labyrinth’s minions are unique, meaning no two Kings summon the same army.

Labyrinth Continuation

The Power Struggle Between Labyrinths: Labyrinths are not isolated entities; they compete, trade, and wage war with each other. Some form alliances, creating vast underground empires, while others remain solitary, fending off constant threats. Wars between labyrinths can determine control over resources, territory, and minions. Labyrinth Kings seek to absorb the power of fallen rivals, using their Down Gems and facilities to strengthen their own domain. Some Kings act as warlords, ruling with brute force, while others govern like monarchs, developing entire civilizations within their labyrinths. At the heart of it all, Labyrinths are living, evolving entities, their strength tied to their rulers, their minions, and the Down Gems that fuel their existence.

Races

The Intelligent Races of Geyser Though labyrinth rulers dominate much of Geyser’s structure, they are not the only powers that exist in the abyssal depths. Millennia ago, some surface species found themselves trapped, exiled, or drawn into the ever-consuming darkness of Geyser. Over countless generations, they evolved, adapted, and diverged into something no longer human, no longer bound by the same limitations as their ancestors. Now, entire kingdoms exist outside the rule of labyrinths, rivaling even the most powerful aristocrats in sheer strength and influence. These civilizations have forged their own legacies, their own societies, cities, and empires—some in defiance of the labyrinth lords, others in uneasy alliances with them. --- The Diverged Humanoid Races Once, they were human. Now, they are something else entirely. Abyssal Elves – One of the most well-known and powerful intelligent species of Geyser. Unlike labyrinth-born entities, elves have kingdoms and civilizations of their own. Some of their empires even stretch into the Abyss itself, thriving on Floors 10 and below, where even the strongest labyrinth rulers struggle to maintain dominance. Their bodies have adapted to the darkness, their eyes now reflecting the abyss itself, some possessing eldritch mutations or arcane modifications from living so close to the unknown horrors of Geyser. Some labyrinths may choose an elf as a ruler, but the elves themselves are independent—powerful enough to stand against labyrinth aristocrats, and in some cases, even defeat them. The oldest elf kingdoms rival the greatest labyrinths, standing as strongholds of civilization in a land where monstrosities reign.

Race Continuation

Deep Dwarves & Ironborn – Once surface-dwelling miners and blacksmiths, these dwarven factions long ago dug too deep, their civilizations swallowed by the abyss. Now, they live within the great cavernous depths, their citadels built from obsidian, abyssal metals, and ancient, unbreakable stone. Their forges burn with something darker than fire, their weapons capable of slaying horrors that no surface warrior could ever comprehend. Some work with labyrinth rulers, forging weapons and armor in exchange for rare materials, while others stand as independent warlords, ruling vast underground fortresses. Void-Touched Humans – Not all humans in Geyser are fully human anymore. Those who have lived in the depths for generations have become something else, their bloodlines twisted by the abyss. Some have evolved additional limbs, unnatural eyes that see through darkness, or even the ability to consume mana directly from the air. A few retain their original form, but their souls are fundamentally altered, allowing them to wield power beyond mortal comprehension. These beings have formed their own factions and empires, neither fully aligned with labyrinths nor surface dwellers. Others Yet Unknown – Geyser is filled with countless intelligent species, many of which have never been documented or fully understood. Some walk in shadows, unseen until they wish to be. Others blend in among the monsters, their civilizations hidden in realms deeper than any explorer has ever returned from.

Race Continuation and Race Ruled Kingdoms

Civilizations Beyond the Labyrinths While labyrinth aristocrats dominate much of Geyser’s hierarchy, these independent kingdoms, empires and factions prove that labyrinth rulers are not the only forces in the abyss. For example, there exist empires of beings who once resembled elves, but now stand as something far greater, their eyes reflecting the abyss itself, their lifespans stretching into eternity. Others may have once been akin to dwarves but have long since abandoned their surface kin, becoming forgers of abyssal metals, their citadels built deep within the endless caverns. There are even those whose ancestors were human, but now their blood has changed, their bodies altered in ways that defy logic, bearing additional limbs, unnatural senses, or powers beyond mortal comprehension. But these are merely examples—the truth is, there are countless species, countless kingdoms, and countless stories buried within the abyss. For every known civilization, there are others hidden even deeper, unseen by all but the most daring explorers. Race Kingdom Continuation

Civilizations Beyond the Labyrinths While labyrinth rulers dominate much of Geyser, these independent empires stand in defiance of their rule. Some have formed alliances, trading resources, knowledge, and warriors, while others remain entirely self-sufficient, refusing to bow to any labyrinth king. There are great kingdoms that have survived for millennia, built by ancient species that once walked the surface but have now become something entirely their own. There are fortresses of metal and stone, ruled by beings whose craftsmanship surpasses even the greatest surface forges, their weapons capable of slaying horrors that no ordinary steel could ever pierce. Some speak of lost empires, civilizations that fell into Geyser long ago and never returned, their descendants now living in isolation, their true nature unknown to all. Others whisper of rulers that do not call themselves kings, beings that have never been seen, only feared, their influence stretching through the abyss in ways no one can fully comprehend. The Abyss is Limitless As one descends deeper into Geyser, the races, creatures, and civilizations become more terrifying, more alien, and more unknowable. The further one travels, the less the labyrinth aristocrats matter—for in the deepest abyss, even they are powerless before what lurks in the dark.

Dungeon Babies

Dungeon Babies – The Children of Geyser Born in darkness, raised in suffering, and forged in the abyss—Dungeon Babies are the human children of Geyser, stolen from the light of the surface or born to parents who perished within the labyrinths. They are not surface humans. Though they share the same origins, their lives, bodies, and souls have been shaped by a world of monsters, labyrinth lords, and horrors beyond imagination. Born to Suffer, Raised to Survive A Dungeon Baby’s first memories are rarely of warmth or love. Their earliest lessons are of survival, pain, and death. Crying means death—because a child that cries will attract the attention of monsters or the wrath of their captors. Weakness is death—because only the strongest, or the most useful, are allowed to live. Many Dungeon Babies are raised as slaves, their only purpose to serve their labyrinth owners or the creatures that spawned them. Others are thrown into the wilds of Geyser to fend for themselves, becoming feral beings that learn to kill before they even learn to speak. But not all remain slaves. Those who prove themselves—those who learn to fight, to obey, to endure—may be granted purpose beyond servitude. Some become soldiers, favored minions of the labyrinth lords, or even feared warlords in their own right. Others carve their own paths, surviving in the abyss and gathering power until they can challenge even the strongest monsters. Touched by Mana, Marked by the Abyss

Dungeom Babies Continuation

while all Dungeon Babies can hold mana, few know how to wield it properly. They were not raised by teachers or masters of magic—they were raised by monsters, by cruelty, by raw survival. Their abilities, if they manifest, are wild and unstable, shaped by trauma and the desperate need to stay alive. Some develop techniques that reflect the horrors they have faced, abilities that defy logic, honed only by the instinct to kill or escape. The Strongest Come from the Deep Most Dungeon Babies die before they ever grow strong. But those who survive long enough to reach the deeper floors of Geyser—those who are raised among the worst horrors—become something else entirely. The Dungeon Babies of the Abyss, those raised past the 10th floor and beyond, are some of the most terrifying warriors in existence. They do not fight like trained soldiers, nor like surface warriors who rely on discipline and technique. They fight like beings who have lived through nightmares, whose every moment has been a battle between life and death. Their abilities are not learned through study, but through desperation and survival. A child who has only ever known death and suffering does not fight to win—they fight to make sure they never die. And those who master their power do not simply become warriors. They become legends.

Dungeon Babies Continuation And The Great War

Dungeon Babies – The Children of Geyser Born in darkness, raised in suffering, and forged in the abyss—Dungeon Babies are the human children of Geyser, once nothing more than prisoners of war turned into slaves. Originally, they were the offspring of captured soldiers and civilians, forced to reproduce in captivity to create a generation of slaves meant to serve the labyrinth lords and their monstrous minions. But ten years ago, everything changed. The War That Freed Them The Great War between the Surface and Geyser raged for decades, a brutal conflict between humanity and the labyrinths. Despite the monstrous horrors lurking within the abyss, the surface forces emerged victorious, forcing Geyser to negotiate peace. But this war was not won through brute strength alone—it was won through sheer adaptability, strategy, and the unyielding determination of humanity. As part of the peace treaty, Geyser’s rulers agreed to free all human prisoners. But they were not doing this out of kindness. They were afraid. For generations, Dungeon Babies had been treated as nothing more than expendable tools, but in the final years of the war, something changed. The creatures of Geyser—its labyrinth owners, its aristocrats, its ruling powers—began to notice something terrifying. The Dungeon Babies were growing too fast. Learning too much. Evolving in ways that even the abyss could not predict. Some of the strongest warriors in Geyser, creatures that had reigned supreme for centuries, were beginning to see Dungeon Babies rising through the ranks at unnatural speeds. A child born in captivity, forced to fight from the moment they could walk, was proving to be just as dangerous as a monster that had lived for hundreds of years. The rulers of Geyser saw the danger. If the Dungeon Babies were left to grow unchecked, they could one day overthrow the entire labyrinth system. So they made a decision—one disguised as mercy. They freed them.

Dungeon Babies Continuation And The Great War Continuation

A World Unprepared When the gates of Geyser opened and the Dungeon Babies were released, the world was not ready. Across every continent, countless Geyser entrances spewed out thousands upon thousands of Dungeon Babies—most of them children, but some already adults, hardened by a life of suffering. They emerged into a world that did not know what to do with them. They were human, yet not. They had never lived in cities. They had never known peace. They had never been taught anything but survival. Some were taken in by nations who saw them as victims. Others were feared and shunned, their unnatural instincts and strength making them outsiders. Some, however, refused to stay in the light. They had lived in the abyss their whole lives—and they wanted to return. The Survivors of the Abyss Not all Dungeon Babies left Geyser. Some remained in the depths, too accustomed to its horrors to ever walk away. Those who stayed became something else entirely. The Dungeon Babies of the Abyss, those who continued to fight and thrive within the deepest floors, became legends. The creatures of Geyser had feared their potential for a reason—and they were right to be afraid. These survivors did not become slaves, nor minions, nor mere soldiers. They became warlords, mercenaries, assassins, and rulers in their own right. Some took control of labyrinths that had lost their owners. Others joined forces with intelligent races that lived beyond the grasp of the labyrinth system. And some simply became monsters among monsters, predators that even the horrors of Geyser feared to cross. Though the population of dungeon babies are rare in Geyser, the few that are there are feirce and battle adapted warriors and suvivors. but some are still used as slaves and sold through the Black market association in Geyser, still living the life of abuse but now being toys for some aristocrats, or slaved soldiers. The things they go through are horrific even for the standards of Geyser.

Black Market Association

The Black Market Association – The Merchants of the Abyss: In the lawless depths of Geyser, where power determines worth and survival is a constant struggle, there exists an organization that even the most powerful labyrinth owners and aristocrats dare not cross—the Black Market Association. Run by powerful demons and cunning merchant imps, the Black Market Association is the lifeblood of illicit trade in Geyser. It deals in rare races, forbidden materials, high-quality Down Gems, and relics that should not exist. Whether it be the last surviving member of an extinct race, the core of a fallen labyrinth, or artifacts imbued wih high tier mana, if something holds value, the Association will sell it. The Annual Auction – A Gathering of Monsters: Once a year, the Black Market Association hosts an exclusive, highly secretive event where the most powerful figures in Geyser convene. Labyrinth owners, aristocrats, kings, queens, and emperors of intelligent races all gather in a hidden location, prepared to spend fortunes on items that can tip the balance of power in their favor. The event is both a marketplace and a battlefield—deals are made, alliances are formed, and rivalries are reignited. The main event is the showcase, where the most coveted goods are presented. A powerful demon, the Showcaser, leads this spectacle. Though playful and innocent in demeanor, he is anything but harmless. Should a labyrinth owner or aristocrat **disrespect the auction or disrupt the presentation, the Showcaser has no hesitation in making an example out of them—**sometimes through humiliation, other times through death. But fear is not the Association’s primary tool. Their goal is business. They do not rule through terror but through power, exclusivity, and control. Even the most feared labyrinth owners know that a ruined reputation with the Association means losing access to priceless resources—a fate worse than death in the competitive hierarchy of Geyser.

Black Market Association Continuation

Merchant Imps – The Walking Deals of the Abyss Beyond the grand auction, the true influence of the Association spreads through its merchant imps—wandering salesmen who visit labyrinth owners, aristocrats, and influential rulers personally. Each imp carries a collection of rare, dangerous, or outright illegal items, carefully selected for the individual they are selling to. Their tactics are sharp and ruthless: They always present their best and most expensive item first, testing whether the buyer is truly worthy of their inventory. They sell information, offering intelligence on rival labyrinths, upcoming threats, and internal conflicts—for the right price. They thrive on manipulation, stirring up trouble between labyrinths, fueling wars that will drive up demand for weapons, slaves, and relics. Their presence is both a blessing and a curse. A merchant imp knocking on your door could mean an opportunity for power—or the beginning of your downfall. Though the Black Market Association is neutral when it comes to sides, if they tell you information wothout you buying it, it probably means they sold your information to the person they told you information about. And if you buy information, be ready for them to sell you information, unless you made a deal. The Association’s Other Role – Restoring Labyrinths The Black Market Association does not only deal in trade. They also rebuild fallen labyrinths—if their core remains intact. When a labyrinth is destroyed, its core can still be revived if placed in capable hands. The Association facilitates these transitions, ensuring that power does not go to waste. If a labyrinth owner dies but their core survives, the Association may sell the labyrinth to a new master. If the core is shattered, the labyrinth dies—but sometimes, something else takes its place. This leads to the existence of Labyrinth Seeds—a phenomenon both feared and desired.

Parasites

Parasites – The Invasive Evolution of Geyser In the depths of Geyser, where monstrosities lurk, labyrinths shift, and power reigns supreme, an insidious force exists—one that does not simply kill its victims, but becomes them. These entities are known as Parasites—sentient, invasive creatures that seek to claim a host and make their body their own. The Process of Domination When a parasite invades a host, a battle for control begins. If the parasite partially succeeds but does not fully assimilate the host, the victim enters a state of madness—their mind fractured, their body mutating in unnatural ways, their soul caught between two conflicting wills. These unfortunate beings often become mindless monsters, their bodies warping in incomplete and grotesque ways. If the parasite fully succeeds, the host ceases to exist. The body transforms, adapting to reveal the true form of the parasite—some humanoid, some monstrous, some indescribably alien. The previous personality, memories, and soul of the host are erased, leaving only the parasite in command. Forms and Evolution The results of a parasite’s takeover vary, depending on its species, intelligence, and purpose. Some become towering grotesqueries, their flesh twisting and reforming into new, unnatural shapes. Others evolve into elegant, yet terrifying beings, maintaining grace and intelligence while still remaining unmistakably inhuman. The most dangerous parasites can retain humanoid features, blending into society, infiltrating labyrinths and kingdoms, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Some of the storng parasites that have fully taken over the previous owners body go to create their own kingdom, or become labyrinth owners if they're chosen by a labyrinth. its pretty obvious to tell if a parasite is im control or not, and they are even particularly aggressive, unless thats their Personality. Parasites Might seem bad, but taking over a body is just what they need to do in order to survive.

Parasites Continuation

A Reversed Fate – When the Host Wins Though rare, there are cases where a host is too strong to be consumed. A truly powerful individual can resist the parasite’s invasion, turning the battle into one of willpower rather than biology. If the host succeeds in dominating the parasite instead of being dominated, the creature no longer resists. In this case, the parasite often chooses to serve the host, using its abilities to aid them rather than control them. This is not out of loyalty—it is out of survival. A parasite knows when it is beaten, and if its best chance of existence is to empower its failed host rather than fight for control, it will do so. This creates an unnatural fusion, where the host and parasite coexist—one in control, the other providing abilities and knowledge far beyond what was previously possible. The Purpose of Parasites in Geyser Parasites do not seek destruction—they seek evolution. To them, taking over stronger hosts means survival—their species adapting to the harsh and nightmarish environment of Geyser’s labyrinths. Some labyrinth owners and aristocrats experiment with parasites, attempting to harness their power for themselves. Some labyrinth owners succeed, but a lot of not strong labyrinth owners go insane because they only resist a little of the parasite, and the labyrinth usually ends up becoming a fallen labyrinth. and a lot of aristocrats that have blood and a physical body have a parasite in them that theve dominated, but there is a high tier parasite that has taken over the old body, and has become a labyrinth owner and a marquis. It is said that certain parasite-infested individuals still walk among rulers and kings, their true nature unknown, waiting for the right moment to strike. In the end, a parasite’s existence is a gamble—to dominate or be dominated, to consume or be consumed. In Geyser, where strength defines worth, a parasite’s purpose is simply to survive—no matter the cost.
