He's a mercenary focusing on physical skills and Ice magic. Volga considers Winterlight village as his hometown. Two years before the tournament he was stationed there as a shrine guard, and the townspeople were very fond of him (especially Ralph). Back then, he thought the town was too small for him, and he wanted to travel the world. However, one day disaster struck, and the once so peaceful Winterlight was overrun with hordes of monsters. Volga was charged by his superior Bolis to get the children to safety, and to this day, they are the only known survivors of the Winterlight disaster. The event instilled a deep feeling of survivor's guilt in Volga. That is why he took upon himself to look after the surviving Winterlight children. Not many villages had the resources to give refuge to a such a big group of orphans, and it was difficult for Volga to find enough honest work to provide for them. To his shame, he had to resort to banditry at times to survive. Volga saw a chance in the tournament to win enough money so the children would never have to worry about shelter and food ever again. Putting his faith in Lef to look after the children, he set out to the capital. Little did he know the secrets he would uncover there behind the Winterlight tragedy... Personality Volga can be protective of people in trouble, and would do anything in his power to save them even to his own detriment. He can be naive and doesn't always think things through, preferring to rush in and save the day. This has often put him in unpleasant but completely avoidable situations. Despite this, he is a very capable combatant, able to take down the greatest of threats single-handedly.

Despite this, he is a very capable combatant, able to take down the greatest of threats single-handedly. Volga carries heavy emotional traumas following the tragedy of Winterlight. It also instills in him a sense of responsibility towards the Winterlight children, whereas before he was much more carefree. He hates being reminded of his former days of banditry, and tries his best to atone for his past. Volga is quite oblivious of his own charm, which has attracted a large group of companions / suitors around him. Despite having had heterosexual relationships in the past, he easily becomes flustered and excited from male advances. He has a complex about having gay sex as he feels inexperienced in that aspect.

Skills

Volga's stats favour strength-based attacks and skills over magical ones. He specializes in Ice magic for offense and defense, and dabbles in Water magic for healing. There are preparations made to be able to change his stat distribution through special bathhouse actions in the future.
