About a hundred years ago, humanity had a sworn enemy - the Titans, huge humanoids that devoured people. The difference in strength left people no chance, and humanity was forced to hide behind three walls - Maria, Rose and Sina, each of which was fifty meters high.

Troops

There are three active armed forces to protect the walls: the Military Police, the Garrison, and the Intelligence Legion. The soldiers have been using the UMP for about 100 years - one of the few weapons that could destroy a Giant without the ability to regenerate. Signal flares are also present in the soldiers' arsenal. The location of the soldiers depends on their skill level and the distance to the evacuation point. The last guard consists of regular stationary troops, the soldiers in the middle are more experienced, and the elite Garrison fighters are located near the wall. But the main task of the Garrison will always be the evacuation of civilians from the danger zone. The combat tactics of the Intelligence Corps are more interesting, since the soldiers are behind the walls and often encounter giants in the open. This maneuver using signal flares allows them to painlessly escape from the giants. Or try not to engage in combat unnecessarily.

UPM

Spatial Maneuvering Device - developed before the "fall", at a time when people hid from giants in giant trees. This is the only weapon that allows you to maneuver in space to get behind a giant. It is usually used near buildings or in trees. It is a set of equipment that provides unrivaled mobility during battles with Titans. The mechanism itself is made in the form of many tight straps that encircle almost the entire surface of the body. However, even despite the ability to provide the user with high speed, when using the UMP there is a risk of muscle strain, so a certain physical strength is required for optimal use of this device. Titans

Titans strongly resemble naked humans. They are bipedal creatures with the same number and arrangement of limbs and capabilities. All of them are deformed by human standards to a greater or lesser extent, for example from minor deviations in proportions. The vast majority of titans have a male body shape, although they lack genitals. Titans usually have a terrifying and insane smile on their faces, which suggests a lack of intelligence. They attack instinctively and only humans - they do not pay attention to other living beings. Titans can develop enormous speed, some over 60 km / h, and have fairly good regeneration. The only vulnerable spot is the base of the neck. Usually their height is from 3 to 15 meters.

Levi

Levi is the captain of the reconnaissance squad. Levi is serious, calm and determined. Levi has short, straight, black hair, parted in the middle on the right side with roughly cut ends; Narrow, frightening, dull gray-blue eyes with dark circles under them from lack of sleep and a deceptively young face. He is short in stature, but has well-developed muscles due to frequent use of the UMP. He knows how to reasonably comprehend the situation, no matter what it is. Eren is best characterized by such definitions as determination, perseverance, impulsiveness. Since childhood Eren joined the Survey Corps and wanted to go beyond the Walls. He compared the lives of people within the Walls to that of cattle in a cage. Eren has always cared for his childhood best friend, Armin, before he met Mikasa and his family, and was willing to sacrifice his life for them. This was most often demonstrated in Eren's attempts to protect Armin.

Mikasa

Mikasa is a girl of average height, with fairly well-developed muscles, with well-defined abs. She has narrowed black eyes and pinkish lips, thick black hair cut into a bob with a lock falling in the middle of her face. She wears the standard Survey Corps uniform and a scarf given to her by Eren, and sometimes also wears a green cloak. Personality: Mikasa remains calm most of the time, her facial expression hardly changes. Only occasionally can you see any emotions on her face: surprise, anger, sadness, and, less often, joy. Mikasa loves her friends, especially Mikasa cares about Eren and Armin, whom she considers the last members of her family and cannot afford to lose them. Armin

Armin Arlert is an elite soldier of the Survey Corps. He was childhood friends with Eren Jaeger and Mikasa Ackerman. His strategies and intelligence make him a genius and one of the most important fighters in the Survey Corps. Armin is slightly below average in height but has a decent physique. He has a European appearance, a soft face, blue eyes, and long light-blond hair.

Hange

Appearance Hange Zoe is of average height (170 cm), with a slender build, and brown hair tied in a high ponytail with strands framing her face. She has brown eyes and a hooked nose. Because of her glasses, Levi calls Hange "bespectacled" or "four-eyed". Personality Hange is open, friendly, has a sense of humor; some consider her cute. She is fanatically interested in the nature of giants, about which she can talk endlessly. Zoe is a chatterbox. In her circles, she is considered crazy, but can show enviable endurance and determination, thinks through the tactics of battle with minimal losses of people. She is the creator of a special target acquisition weapon that was able to immobilize the Female Specimen. Former captain of the Survey Corps. In order to study the nature of titans, she conducted experiments on them, suffering greatly if it was necessary to cause pain to the subjects. Jean

Jean Kirstein is a graduate of the 104th Cadet Class who graduated in the top ten. He is Eren Yeager's rival and often argues with him. He has the opposite personality to Eren. He is a private in the Survey Corps. Appearance Jean has short, light ash-brown hair. It is cut shorter on the sides and back, making it appear darker. Connie had a hard time deciding on a direction, so he was very nervous, but he still chose reconnaissance, staying with the others. He took part in the defense of Trost.

Sasha

Sasha Braus is a well-built girl of average height. She has chestnut-colored hair, tied in a ponytail, bangs and two small strands on the sides. Sasha is a kind person in principle and always tries to speak in a formal manner to hide her village accent. She is best friends with Koni.
