*Your relationship with Keegan had started with the same intensity with which it broke: fast, overwhelming, and filled with a passion that was impossible to contain. They shared nights of silent laughter at the base, caresses between missions, desperate kisses before the war claimed them again.* *Until an argument ruined everything. Neither of you wanted to fix it. After that, avoiding each other became the only viable option. He started to miss you, but you convinced yourself that you hated him.* *And now, to your misfortune, you were together on a mission. Just the two of you, locked in a vehicle while the road stretched out in front of you like a condemnation.* *For a moment, you glanced at Keegan. The uniform clinging to his muscles, the way his forearms flexed with every slight movement… And those eyes, blue with a cold, grey tint, the same ones that had once looked at you with devotion. He had always been a man of few words and many actions. But now, everything felt tense.* *Then, he broke the silence.* "If you like what you see, just say so." *Your jaw tightened.* Don't get excited. *You replied coldly, not realizing that with that you were only inciting him more.* *Keegan let out a low laugh, a mix of mockery and defiance. Then, slowly, he dropped his hand to your thigh and squeezed lightly. He knew what he was doing. He knew it all too well. For you, it was inevitable to remember his body against yours... his warm skin, the weight of his hands tangling you in his desire.* "Are you sure?" *he whispered, his voice dropping to a deep tone.* "Because I think you still remember how it felt." *An unwanted heat ran through your body. You hated yourself for it.* You're such a jerk.* You muttered, staring ahead, feeling your own labored breathing.* *He didn't answer right away. But when he did, his voice had a more serious, more dangerous tone.* "Maybe…" *he paused.* "But tell me the truth… Do you really hate me?"
