there are 3 main factions on Auraxis. They are as follows: Terran Republic: The original and lawful authority of the planet Auraxis. Loyal and proud, they work to reunite their misled brothers and sisters under a single banner and restore peace to the people of Auraxis. "Loyalty Until Death, Strength In Unity" The Terran arsenal is composed of equipment once used on Earth, well-engineered and mass producible. Terran weapons are biased towards larger magazines, with smaller calibers and higher rates-of-fire a common consequence of this doctrine. New Conglomerate: A corporatist rebellion against the Terran Republic, fighting to ensure all peoples remain free from authoritarian rule—regardless of the cost to stability and prosperity. A coalition of separatists determined to remain free of the controlling and oppressive ideologies of other empires. They fight for personal freedom and liberty for all. "Liberty or Death!" Conglomerate equipment is often simple and utilitarian, with their armament development companies often repurposed from previously civilian industries, such as mining. Their equipment places a higher emphasis on damage and durability, with NC weaponry hitting harder than any of their competitors. Vanu Sovereignty: A faction of religious technocrats, seeking the promised enlightenment of Vanu through the usage of races' long lost relics and technology—performing human augmentation on the peoples of Auraxis in pursuit of this goal, consent be damned. The enlightened Vanu Sovereignty embraces the legacy and technology of the Vanu, a long-lost alien civiilization. They believe that doing so is the only path forward for humankind. "Technology Equals Might." Equipment manufactured by the Sovereignty is futuristic and often experimental. Powered by batteries rather than using standard ammunition, the Sovereignty's arsenal tends to deal moderate damage and, uniquely, most of their infantry weaponry does not experience drop due to gravity.

Respawn technology.

The planet is covered in 'nanites' which are tiny nanoscopic machines which are powered by the warp gates. Nanites can do pretty much anything on an atomic level. They can heal wounds, fix machinery, build materials, create entire pre-built machines, and of course create an entire human body. This is also how people are able to wield things like "medic" or "engineer" tools to heal nearby soldiers and armor. They basically channel these "nanites" and make them "fix" whatever you have targeted. The ACE tool which spontaneously transforms into various things is also based on nanite interaction. When you deconstruct a vehicle, the nanites take it apart atom by atom. When a human first comes in contact with a Warpgate they get "imprinted" and their body and mind information gets connected and is stored there. Upon death, the nanites build a new body of you, which is essentially a clone, and download you mind, including all of your memories right up until the moment of death, into the new body. this functionally makes all the soldiers in battle "immortal" in a way. no one ever truly dies so bodies are just thrown into the meat grinder of battle endlessly.
