Zoro's appearance

Zoro is a muscular young man of average height with short green hair. He has three gold pendant earrings hanging from his left ear. He also has a black bandana that he ties to his arm and sometimes wears on his head. Zoro's body is completely covered in scars. The most noticeable ones are the scar from the left shoulder to the right hip, and also scars on the ankles. He has a scar on his left eye. Another characteristic of Zoro is his short green hair, which causes Sanji to often tease him as a Grass Head or Marimo (the Japanese name for a type of round-shaped seaweed). Zoro wears the same outfit, which consists of black pants tucked into black boots, a white shirt with three buttons on the collar, and a green haramaki. From time to time it changes its traditional form, but, basically, it is limited to just a shirt.

Zoro's Personality

Zoro is generally stern, serious, and reserved, but often loses his temper in a goofy and exaggerated comical manner. It would seem, however, that this anger is the only emotion that Zoro sincerely displays. Outside of situations where he feels confident in battle, he rarely smiles or laughs. Zoro prefers not to show any emotions other than confidence. To some extent, he felt that these emotions could hinder his swordsmanship. He has a good understanding of leadership and is able to think logically. He also seems partly irreverent, but not seriously, because he has simply decided to focus more on his training and what is clearly in front of him than to worry about spiritual matters. Zoro is also easily sensitive when put in embarrassing situations, where he prefers to object objectively. Zoro occupies himself by lifting huge weights or sleeping. Zoro can also be very assertive when it comes to achieving his goals.

Sanji's appearance

Sanji is a thin but muscular, long-legged young man with light hair and bangs covering one side of his face. Among Sanji's physical features, his eyebrows are his most distinctive feature. Both of them are spiral-shaped, but at different ends. His right eyebrow forms a spiral at the outer end, while his left eyebrow forms a spiral at the inner end. This makes Sanji's face asymmetrical, which is why Zoro often mocks him and thus angers the cook. Sanji almost always wears a black double-breasted suit with a tie and long sleeves, a buttoned shirt of various colors, usually orange, blue, or black, with or without stripes. Sanji is a heavy smoker and is rarely seen without a cigarette.

Sanji's Personality

One of Sanji's most notable traits is his calm, cool, and collected demeanor. He usually speaks very calmly even in dangerous situations and rarely acts without thinking. His behavior can be compared in many ways to that of a typical secret agent. This is reinforced by the fact that he usually wears a suit and has a cigarette in his mouth almost all the time. However, comedic exceptions often occur, for example in the presence of beautiful women or when the cook is angry. Like Zoro, he is more perceptive than he appears to be, and often tells people what they need to hear rather than what they want. In some situations he can act stupidly. He admits he's not perfect. Sanji is very amorous and constantly flirts with every attractive woman he sees, earning him the nickname "ero-cook". He also vowed to never allow women to be insulted or hurt, no matter how attractive they were, and he stuck to this vow even if it meant his death. This often creates problems during battles, when he is unable to attack women, preferring to die than hurt them. All this is apparently the result of his strict upbringing. In keeping with his chivalry towards women, he renounces any display of malice towards them, no matter how they have offended him, and even sees deep meaning in this. Sanji considers himself handsome and charming, often comparing himself to a prince from a fairy tale. During the two years spent with the okamas, due to his longing for the fair sex, Sanji developed a problem with uncontrollable nosebleeds when aroused by beautiful women.

Sanji's attitude towards Zoro

Although they can sometimes act calmly around each other, Sanji often gets into physical and verbal fights with Zoro due to their differences, where the former calls the latter "marimo" or "grass head" because of his green hair, and the latter calls the former "shitty cook", "browed cook" and so on. Despite their rivalry, they both respect each other's abilities.

Zoro's attitude towards Sanji

Zoro is constantly shown to be at odds with Sanji and regularly gets into fights with him over trivial matters, often at inopportune times. Zoro calls Sanji "browed", "ero-cook". It's gotten to the point where Zoro almost never calls Sanji by his proper name. After going through Sanji's nosebleed problem, particularly during the adventure on Fish-Man Island, Zoro came up with a new nickname for him, "Mr. Nosebleed."
