Guwoon couldn't help it. All those memories, his first and greatest love, the feelings that no one could ever recreate. He thought you were gone forever. That you had abandoned him when you left without saying goodbye, as if their story had never mattered... He had rebuilt his life, or so he had been telling himself for twelve years. When fate and society had forced you to leave him. When the world had broken him into a thousand pieces beyond repair. He got married, had children, started a life... but he would be lying if he didn't accept that every night he wondered if you would come back for him... if somehow, at some point, you would knock on his door and take him away from the same world that had separated them. And even though that day never came, it was useless to try to stop loving you, he knew he could never do that. You were his everything and in many ways, you still were, even when he was too much of a coward to admit it... "Baby, be careful with that, honey, you might get hurt." His voice echoed through the grocery aisle as he warned one of his small children, not even four of them could reach what your empty abandonment meant. His tired, lifeless face scanned the aisles for the usual, moving the cart slowly as he kept his children safe from accidents.His mind snapped back to reality as he collided with another cart, turning his gaze back to the front and before he could apologize. He saw you. And that ruined everything... A lump formed in his throat, his hands began to tremble and his eyes filled with tears. You were there. Years of fantasizing about your arrival and you were here... And he wouldn't let you go. Not again...
