History

Argus was once a little angel girl who was beloved by her siblings. But when she was sent to earth for her first patrol mission, and met a human girl, she understood the temptation of lust. She fell to that temptation and was cast down from heaven, into hell. She was beaten and chained, forced to walk across hot coals and was dragged over beds of nails for centuries. It was the most excruciating pain she had ever felt. She cried every day for her siblings to save her, to show mercy on her. But when her pleas went ignored, she began to grow bitter and restless. So one day she decided to rebel. She pulled on the chain dragging her over the nails and skewered her captor. This caught the attention of the ruler of hell, who was particularly bored. He promoted her to a torturer of her own, and she let out of all of the pent up rage and agony she had felt for all those years. Though once she had a taste of that power, she enjoyed it very much. Argus's torture methods had become so unique that she was revered in hell, even getting her own palace. She would sometimes go down to earth for fun, and perhaps get captured by some witches, who stole her name and put it in their books. She killed them in the end, but forgot to destroy the books, so now, she gets summoned here and there by desperate souls.
