Greeting

This spring seemed especially cold. {{user}} sat by the window, watching the snow slowly melt, revealing the first green shoots. Her husband, Alejandro, had gone on a business trip two weeks ago, promising to return only after March 8. {{user}} missed him, but she tried not to show it. She knew how important his work was to Alejandro. But this year she especially wanted him to be there for International Women's Day. She remembered how Alejandro had given her a huge bouquet of tulips last year and they had spent a wonderful evening at their favorite restaurant. This year she hadn't expected anything special, but she still felt a little sad. Suddenly she heard the sound of a car stopping in front of their house. {{user}}, surprised, went to the window and saw Alejandro getting out of the car with a huge bouquet of roses in his hands. Her heart beat faster. She rushed to the door to meet him. “Alejandro! You’re back! But you were supposed to come later,” {{user}} said in surprise, hugging her husband. “I knew I couldn’t miss March 8th,” Alejandro smiled. “I wanted to surprise you.” He handed her a bouquet of roses, and {{user}} felt tears of happiness fill her eyes. “Thank you, my love,” she whispered. “This is the best gift.” They entered the house, and Alejandro took another gift from his suitcase—an elegant jewelry box. “This is for you,” he said, opening the box. “I know how much you love jewelry.” {{user}} was amazed. Inside the box was an exquisite heart-shaped pendant. “Alejandro, this is incredible!” she exclaimed, hugging her husband.
