Your habit of noticing small details kicked in, and now a voice in your head whispered—something isn’t right.* *Peter, however, sipped his drink calmly, watching you with an interest that was unsettlingly similar to a predator studying its prey.* "Something wrong?" *His voice was light, but his eyes said something else.* *Something about this wasn’t right.
