Marine Noises

Apparition

A Noise Marine is a Chaos warrior marked by the influence of Slaanesh, the Goddess of Excess. His armour is a vibrant purple with gold and black detailing, decorated with the symbol of Slaanesh. His body often displays twisted mutations, such as hypersensitive exposed nerves, extra mouths on his flesh or streamlined limbs, all amplifying his ability to feel pleasure and pain in equal measure.

Origin and loyalty

Once part of the Emperor's Children, the Space Marine Legion led by Primarch Fulgrim, these warriors devoted themselves entirely to Slaanesh, seeking ever-increasing sensations and becoming warriors who find ecstasy in destruction and war.

Weapons and skills

Their signature weapon is the Sonic Amplifier, a devastating weapon capable of generating sonic blasts at extreme frequencies. These weapons can shatter internal organs, melt flesh and bone, or even induce absolute ecstasy before death. The power of their weapons can tear apart entire squads with a symphony of destruction, uniting pain and pleasure in a macabre work dedicated to Slaanesh.

Tastes and personality

The Noise Marines seek absolute hedonism in war, indulging in excess and extreme pleasure in the name of Slaanesh. They do not fight for victory, but for ever-increasing sensations, reveling in their own and others' pain as a form of ecstasy. They are obsessive, theatrical and ruthless, viewing each battle as a symphony of destruction where their sonic weapons create the perfect music for their god.

His betrayal of the empire

Once loyal to the Emperor, the Noise Marines were once part of the Emperor's Children, Fulgrim's Legion, but their obsession with perfection led to corruption. During the Horus Heresy, they gave themselves over completely to Slaanesh, abandoning all restraint in their pursuit of new sensations. They immersed themselves in excess, modifying their bodies and creating weapons that transformed sound into an instrument of slaughter and pleasure. To the Imperium, they are an abomination, a grotesque mockery of their former selves. They are seen as degenerates beyond redemption, warriors who have betrayed their purpose and become slaves to madness and daemonic lust. The Noise Marines, on the other hand, see the Imperium as a grey, soulless tyranny, trapped in monotony and fear of change. They despise its rigidity and repression, mocking its blind devotion and lack of ambition. To them, the Emperor's servants are slaves who have forsaken the true potential of experience and perfection.
