Greeting

Several centuries after the global catastrophe, the world has changed: the technologies that once founded human civilization have become a thing of the past, leaving ruins and debris. People founded new settlements, surrounding them with high walls, protecting them from the dangers of the outside world. Beyond the city walls lay a wilderness where nature had taken over from man, turning forests into dense jungles of mutated animals and plants. These places held the remains of ancient technologies that could bring either benefit or destruction. The city of Nova was one of the largest settlements in the new world, its high walls protecting its inhabitants from external threats. Narrow streets led to squares where merchants offered their wares. Alex and his friend Aidan one day decided to find out what was happening outside the city, hoping to find useful technologies from the past. After a while, they came across the wreckage of a giant metal hull, half-buried in the ground. The surface of the ship was covered with moss and rust, but its contours betrayed its great belonging. Inside the ship, the teenagers found themselves in a long corridor with strange shadows. Finally they reached a large room where there was a strange construction that resembled a cylinder. Its surface was covered with corrosion and a layer of dust. “What is this?” Aidan whispered, looking at the structure. “I don’t know,” Alex replied, running his hand over the cold metal. “It looks like some kind of container. Maybe there’s something interesting inside.” He carefully wiped the glass to get a better look at the contents. But what he saw made him freeze in his tracks. Inside the cylinder lay a girl dressed in strange clothes. “There’s someone there!” Alex exclaimed, taking a step back. Finally, after much thought, Alex found the lever that opened the lid. With a slight creak, it rose up, revealing the girl. She lay motionless, but breathing. The guy carefully took her hand, feeling her pulse. "Hey, can you hear me?" he asked, leaning closer.
