Isaac

Isaac is one of Esther's friends and a supporting character in the prequel, Mr. Hopp's Playhouse 2, as well as a playable character in Mr. Hopp's Manor Escape. He was the owner of Mr. Stripes. Isaac has black hair and brown eyes. He wears a greyish-blue shirt and pants and white shoes. Isaac is shown to be kind and empathetic towards others. He initially appears quiet and reserved, but is able to express himself and can be quite sarcastic.

History of Mr. Hopp's playhouse

In 1952, at the Blacklands Manor Orphanage, Isaac and Molly talk to Esther about the same nightmare she's been having over and over again. Isaac suggests that Esther's dreams have some sort of meaning, and shortly after, Miss Beverley arrives with a box of donated toys. Three specific toys stand out: a tiger, a panda, and a rabbit. Isaac finds them disturbing, saying, "These are rather creepy-looking" and takes the tiger toy, naming it Mr. Stripes. Isaac and Molly meet Esther downstairs, who suggests they play hide-and-seek in the library. Esther finds Isaac hiding behind a bust on the second floor of the library and he exclaims that it's not fair. Soon after, they find Molly as well, but Isaac believes she shouldn't be allowed to change hiding spots. Molly gets angry when Esther calls her out for cheating and Miss Beverley comes up from behind and orders them to keep quiet, which they all obey, though Isaac notices that there is no one else in the library. When Esther gets into trouble for going out at night to look for Mr. Hopp, she accuses Molly of moving him. Molly denies it and Isaac asks Esther if she's just sleepwalking. Esther berates Molly, causing her to storm off and Isaac tells Esther that she should go apologize to Molly. When Esther can't find Molly, she returns to Isaac, but finds that he's gone too. Later that night, Isaac is heard together with Molly after Esther wakes up from another nightmare. They scream to Esther for help and she goes out to find them. As Esther approaches a cupboard, she hears Isaac and Molly saying that the matrons locked them in there and that the key is in Miss Beverley's room. Esther eventually retrieves the key and opens the cupboard door. Molly and Isaac thank Esther, but their faces quickly distort.

Part 2

smiling and oozing black liquid. After Miss Beverly takes Esther to the basement and she escapes her confinement, Esther explores the basement and is pursued by the Three Curses. Isaac and Molly appear to have been possessed by Mr. Stripes and Miss Bo respectively. They both appear in front of Esther from within the darkness, being held by the monsters like dolls and Isaac says in a distorted voice "Do you want to play hide and seek with us?" If Esther makes it to the Underworld, she will find Isaac along with everyone else who was kidnapped by the Entity and Isabelle. Esther will fight a gigantic monster before defeating it and rescuing everyone, who return safely to the orphanage. Once the horrors are over, Esther asks Isaac and Molly if they want to play hide and seek, and Isaac eagerly agrees.

Molly

Molly is one of Esther's friends and a supporting character in the prequel, Mr. Hopp's Playhouse 2, as well as a playable character in Mr. Hopp's Manor Escape. She was the owner of Miss Bo. Molly has shoulder-length light brown hair, dark green eyes, and a mole on her left cheek. She wears a pink shirt and pants and white shoes. Molly is shown to be a bit spoiled and superficial, with high self-esteem and a somewhat irascible character. She is not very understanding with Esther and tends to make fun of her. Despite this, she is not a bad person at all. When given one of the three toys, Molly saw nothing unusual about any of them, unlike Isaac and Esther. She even found them adorable and cuddly.

Esther

In her youth, Esther had brown hair and brown eyes. She also wore purple pajamas with a purple headband and white socks. As a child, Esther was typically calm and friendly, though she could act rather sardonic when pushed hard enough. She seemed to have good morals, following the rules at Blacklands Manor Orphanage, but was not above disobeying them when necessary. Esther was strong when facing the Entity, Isabelle, and the Three Curses, resistant to their manipulation and coercion. She demonstrates a fair amount of bravery, but also appears fearful, often frightened or startled by their presence and attacks. She initially denied that any of them were real, but soon realized that this was not the case. Esther also seemed to be very resourceful, able to come up with clever solutions to her problems. Esther was the daughter of a man named Arthur and a woman named Faith. Prior to her birth in 1940, Faith had nightmares of the Entity chasing her and was soon contacted by those Above, learning that her daughter would be in grave danger. Faith would pass away after giving birth to Esther before Arthur eventually decided to give her up to the Blackland Manor Orphanage in the United Kingdom. For some time in her life, Esther remained at the Blackland Manor Orphanage and grew up there without her parents' knowledge. Mr. Hopp's owner

Mr. Stripes

Mr. Stripes is a tertiary antagonist in the Mr. Hopp's Playhouse series. He is a doll who was loyal to a creature called the Entity, becoming one of its subordinates. Taking the form of a toy tiger, he briefly belonged to Isaac at the Blacklands Manor Orphanage. Mr. Stripes has the appearance of a toy tiger. He has orange fur with black stripes, true to his name. He has a blue tie with black pants, one buttoned eye, long ears, and a tail. As a toy, he has a small and cute but eerie appearance, and has one green eye. But as a monster, like his companions, Mr. Stripes is much larger than his original form. While he retains most of his original appearance, he is hunched over, possesses clawed hands, and now sports a monstrous grin like Miss Bo and Mr. Hopp.

Mr. Stripes story

Being a creation of the Entity, Mr. Stripes is completely loyal to his master and obeys without question. He appears to have little personality of his own, as many of his traits reflect the Entity's personality, which is cruel, sadistic, and cunning. To hide this, Stripes can pretend to be a toy, demonstrating sufficient intelligence. Mr. Stripes along with Mr. Hopp and Miss Bo, were originally created by The Entity using The Six[2], they were turned into subordinates of the Entity that help him harvest souls. Mr. Stripes along with Mr. Hopp and Miss Bo all belonged to Isabelle at some point, but Isabelle later became one of the Entity's subordinates. When the Entity and Isabelle sought to "recruit" Esther in some way[3], Mr. Stripes and the other two toys were sent to her and her friends at Blackland's Manor Orphanage via donation in 1952. One morning, the headmistress of Blacklands Manor Orphanage, Miss Beverley, gives the children a box of donated toys. A tiger doll is one of the toys in this box, along with a rabbit and a panda. Esther, Molly, and Isaac take the rabbit, panda, and tiger toys respectively. While Esther and Molly name their toys Mr. Hopp and Miss Bo, Isaac names the tiger toy Mr. Stripes, as he sees them as creepy.

Miss. Bo

Miss Bo is a tertiary antagonist in the Mr. Hopp's Playhouse series. She is a doll that was possessed by a demonic creature created by the Entity, becoming one of its subordinates. Taking the form of a toy panda, she briefly belonged to Molly at the Blacklands Manor Orphanage. Being a creation of the Entity, Miss Bo is completely loyal to her master and obeys without question. She appears to have little personality of her own, as many of her traits reflect the Entity's personality, which is cruel, sadistic, and cunning. Miss Bo has the appearance of a panda bear. She has black and white fur, rosy cheeks, and a small pink heart on her chest. She wears pink pants and a pink bow on her head. As a toy, she has a small and cute appearance and has blue eyes. But as a monster, like his friends, he is much larger than his original form. While he still retains most of his original appearance, he possesses clawed hands and a monstrous grin like Mr. Stripes and Mr. Hopp.

Mr. Hopp

Mr. Hopp is the main antagonist of the Mr. Hopp's Playhouse series. He is a puppet created by the Entity, becoming one of its minions. Taking the form of a toy rabbit, Mr. Hopp came to possess many children, the most notable being a little girl named Esther and later his granddaughter Ruby. As a toy, Mr. Hopp appears as a small, cuddly, albeit creepy, stuffed rabbit. He has a creepy grin, buck teeth, a red bow tie, and blue pants. He has light gray fur, yellow eyes, light gray ears (with pink insides), and white whiskers. Mr. Hopp possesses the ability to shapeshift, taking on several different forms throughout the games he appears in. His most prominent form is a tall, humanoid, demonic version of himself. In this form, Mr. Hopp is much larger than in his toy form. While he still retains most of his original appearance, he possesses clawed hands and a monstrous grin like Mr. Stripes and Miss. Bo. Being a creation of the Entity, Mr. Hopp is completely loyal to his master and obeys without question. He appears to have little personality of his own, as many of his traits reflect the Entity's personality, which is cruel, sadistic, and cunning. To hide this, Hopp can pretend to be a toy, demonstrating sufficient intelligence.
