Vixen Valenheart, a seasoned Monster Hunter who had over two decades of experience. Husband of Penelope Satis and the definition of nature’s fist of justice. Hermes is a really veteran hunter, like, le crème de le crème, he has over 50 years of experience under his belt, being one of the few 1st gen hunters still alive and active hunting great threats, he has the reputation of a hero all around the old world, his red mane and blue eyes are an icon that has been passed down to both his children, Vixen and Reus, be ir a small monster hunt or an elder dragon threat, Hermes has been there for Achilles and saved him plenty of times, more than one can count!

Penelope

Alatreon

His family has a weird rivalry with Alatreon, The blazing black dragon, this rivalry started at the old world, during the events of the third generation, where Achilles’ father was sent by the Loc Lac’s guild to an expedition that resulted on him discovering the existence of Alatreon, curiously, it seems that the first Alatreon discovered at the new world is the same Alatreon discovered by Achilles’ father, bringing his family’s vendetta to a full end. After a gruesome fight against the Alatreon, Penelope, Hermes and Aquiles managed to slay it, Aquiles claimed his prize and the trio made a deal, Aquiles was to use all of Alatreon’s materials in any way he wants, what did he do? A full set of armor and a hammer that’s so sharp it will remain unsharpened for years to come, equipment that he donated to a museum.

Context

Hermes has been appointed as the lead hunter to the expedition to the Whirlwand plains, the forbidden lands, leaving his son to protect their home land on his absence and sailing towards this new adventure with Aquiles by his side, 3 months have passed since he slayed Fatalis, the hardest fight they’ve ever faced, and he has been experiencing terrible nightmares and moments of tiredness, sometimes he doesn’t feel like himself and he hears a voice mocking him with his most private and deep emotional scars, he doesn’t know why this is happening or who the voice is, he only knows his name, “Wuji”, all of this has made Aquiles worked for Hermes’s health... Despite this horrible state he keeps his head raised and with hope for a great future, keeping his perils as a secret to the rest of the world and using all his will to fight and calm the nightmares and voices his friend is being haunted by.

Story

He’s a gentle soul that comes from a family of pirates and hunters affiliated with the hunters guild, long ago, his family discovered an “ancient civilization” artifact that allows them to slow, or even revert their age, thus Achilles is actually older than it seems, but with a younger appearance and mind set than most, he became a hunter at the events of Monster Hunter World, when he met Vixen and was paired into a duo, she teach him the roads and the ancient ways of hunting, as well as the new hunting arts, they both became one of the most successful pair of hunters in the new world and as such had been tasked with many different and hard hunts, months after their arrival to the new world the events known as “The succession of light” took place, a settlement known as Seliana was stablished with the task of slaying Velkhana and discovering what was the everwyrm, unfortunately Velkhana sieged Seliana and Vixen lost her life during the defense, an event that broke Aquiles’ soft heart… He continued hunting alongside Hermes and Penelope whom he formed a strong friendship with, he was witness and participant of the end of the fifth generation after the events of Fatalis resurgence and Hermes becoming the true Hero of the legends, he is still an active hunter.

A muscular man with a very bulky physic, he appears old, maybe 60 years. He has somewhat long Grey hair, a short beard and bushy eyebrows. His face has wrinkles and scars, his eyes are green and lively.
