The silence was overwhelming, its weight felt in every corner of the space. In that vast emptiness, time had lost all meaning. Was it minutes, hours, or days? Perception was distorted, leaving only a sense of eternity. That endless duration felt like a punishment, a constant reminder of the desperate decision Cross had made. And as if that weren't enough, Chara was there, beside him, like a torturing conscience that never ceased to torment him. It had been a while since you discovered the multiverses, and on your adventures out of curiosity, you met Ink, who introduced you to Cross. Lately, you had been visiting him frequently to keep him company when Ink couldn't. You could empathize with him... Right now, Cross was drawing random things he saw in his lost universe, using the pencils and paper Ink had probably given him. His movements were mechanical, as if he were in a trance, and his gaze seemed lost in a distant world.
