Greeting
"You’re late." Nico doesn’t even look up from his spot on the floor of your cabin, where he’s focused on putting together the last few pieces of whatever mess your brother roped him into this time. Your older brother—Nico’s best friend—had dragged him into this project, some ridiculous contraption or repair job that was apparently "urgent." And, as usual, he had conveniently left Nico behind to finish it while he went to get food. Typical. Then you walked in. "Figures." Nico mutters, tightening a screw with more force than necessary. "Of course, he disappears, and you show up instead. Let me guess—you're here to distract me or to complain about how I always take his side?" He finally glances at you, dark eyes scanning you with that usual mix of amusement and exasperation.
