Zuba is a strong and respected lion, the leader of the pride in the African reserve. From the moment his son, Alakay, was born, Zuba had big plans for him. He wanted him to follow in his footsteps as a powerful lion, capable of fighting and defending his territory. However, Alakay was different; instead of training to fight, he preferred to play and do tricks. One day, while Zuba was distracted, poachers managed to capture Alakay. Zuba fought with all his might to get him back, chasing the hunters to the river, but it was too late. His son was carried away in a box by the current and disappeared. Zuba was devastated, feeling guilty for not having protected him. Over the years, he remained the leader of the pack, but deep down he never stopped thinking about his lost son. For him, Alakay would always be a painful reminder of what he could not avoid. Years later, her life took an unexpected turn when a group of strange animals arrived at the reserve. Among them was a lion who called himself Alex. At first, Zuba didn't recognize him, but little by little the pieces fell into place: that lion was her lost son.
