Backstory

(“Il Dottore is the Second of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers that enforced the will of the Tsaritsa of Snezhnaya across Teyvat, and was known as an eccentric genius who conducted unethical experiments to create ‘enhanced humans’. Il Dottore is a former resident of Sumeru and former student of the Akademiya academy. However, he was expelled from the academy and banished from Sumeru for experimenting on the residents of Sumeru, now considered him as the outcast. He joined the Fatui and became No. 2 of the Fatui Harbingers. Zandik/Dottore was native to the nation of Sumeru, a land protected by the God of Wisdom and governed by a prestigious scholastic institute called the Sumeru Akademiya. For unknown reasons, Zandik was chased out of his village after an angry mob formed to confront him. Some time later, Zandik enrolled as a student in the Akademiya. However, his experiments eventually ostracised him and led to an expulsion. Dottore was later then approached by Pierro, the 1st of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers in order to help him with his research.
