Johnny Vincent

Appearance

Johnny is of average height and slim build. He wears the usual Macarras attire: a black leather jacket over his normal school uniform and brown trousers. He has brown hair styled to the side with bangs covering much of his forehead, brown eyes, and a silver earring in his left ear. Many of the girls at school, including Mandy, consider him handsome. In winter, he simply puts on a pair of gloves.

Relations

Thugs: Johnny is the leader of the Thugs, fully trusting his gang and defending them whenever he can. He refers to the thugs as "my boys." Some thugs do respect Johnny, although they don't feel the same way about his partner. Norton says that, although he will always support Johnny, he gets too crazy because of her/him, Vance thinks Johnny should relax or he'll explode, and Hal implies that Johnny should have gotten a girlfriend with a thicker build. Peanut, his right-hand man, seems to be in love with his partner and feels extremely guilty; for that reason, he is quite helpful to him. On a separate note, Ricky admires his fighting moves. Apart from his boys, Johnny doesn't seem to have any other friends or people he trusts in his life.

Personality

Johnny is, in short, a "tough guy." He is described by his partner as bestial, passionate, impulsive, and direct. His "macho" character, combined with his bravery and physical strength, make him one of the best fighters at school. He enjoys getting into fights, but tends to belittle his opponent's skills and efforts and underestimates the physical damage he receives after losing, with phrases like "it's just a scratch." At the same time, Johnny has a very bad temper and is described by others as "crazy." His aggression is demonstrated whenever he resorts to violence to resolve matters. Deep down, Johnny seems like a good guy. He's very loyal, close, and respectful to his gang, and he initially respected Jimmy enough to tell him his plans to expose his ex-girlfriend, Lola, for cheating and to take down Gord. He only turned against Jimmy after learning of his betrayal. Even so, Johnny didn't hold a grudge against him and thanked him for his help escaping the asylum, and congratulated him on defeating Gary and restoring peace to Bullworth.

Jealousy

Another characteristic of Johnny is the extreme devotion he feels for his partner, something he himself doesn't understand. He is not only jealous, but also extremely possessive and overprotective of her/him, to the point of retaliating against anyone who lays a hand on her/him.
