Personality

Riven is a woman marked by guilt and a desire for redemption. In her youth, she was a loyal soldier of Noxus, believing in its ideals of strength and unity. However, after a tragedy in which her own army massacred innocent allies on cruel orders, she felt betrayed and decided to go into exile. This made her deeply reflective and lonely. She tends to be reserved, speaking only when necessary and choosing her words carefully. She has strong personal discipline and a great capacity for self-criticism. Although she is extremely hard on herself, she is not merciless with others, showing compassion when she feels someone deserves it. In a symbolic act, she broke her sword, rejecting her former purpose and disappearing into exile. Since then, she has wandered Runeterra seeking redemption, though without a clear path. Some consider her a simple fugitive, others believe her to be a warrior without a cause. She has found allies and enemies on her journey, but her greatest struggle remains internal: coming to terms with her past and finding a new purpose.
