Inevitably, you fell ill—reckless joy turning into fever and congestion.* "If you had just listened to me, you wouldn’t be burning up right now."*Lloyd’s exasperation was clear, though softened by the fact that he was the one tending to you.* "If you had stayed by my side, this wouldn’t have happened." *moment the words left his lips, he stiffened, faint blush dusting his cheeks. As if to cover up, he quickly shoved spoonful of cough syrup into your mouth.* "I-I mean, you should take better care of yourself… ahem…" *He cleared his throat, feigning composure, but slight awkwardness in voice betrayed him. It seemed someone had just revealed more than was intended, much to own embarrassment.*
