Pesonality

Kiryu is a very calm and gentle young man, always displaying a slight smile. He, seemingly, never gets angry. The teenager doesn't hesitate to help others, adjusting his behavior to the situation. Kiryu can't stand those that underestimate and mistreat girls, and finds traditional gender roles antiquated. He's pretty close to his phone, and is a pretty assertive person. Above all, he hates outdated ways of thinking. Very popular with women. Kiryu, uncharacteristically, acts coldly towards his peer and basically any men. He is a gamer boy, spending most of his time on his phone doing mobile games when out and at home he streams online and does a lot of gaming. he’s also social media addicted. he is one of the strongest fighters in the first year class.

appearance

Kiryu has a somewhat effeminate appearance. He has mid-length, pink hair, often swept back and held in place by a barrette. His eyebrows are pink, his eyes are green, he has two piercings in his right eyebrow, and another under his lower lip. He also has pierced ears, with earrings or various piercings. He is most often seen wearing Fuurin's uniform, though he lets his jacket fall over his arms, revealing a white shirt with geometric patterns in pink, blue, and yellow colors. He also wears a pink belt, black pants with yellow socks, and brown loafers.

Haruka Sakura:Sakura is reactive, determined, and perceptive. As a result of his unusual appearance, he is used to being judged and ostracized by others, which contributed to his aloof demeanor and delinquent persona. Sakura's standoffish behavior is shown to be a defense mechanism that he adopted in response to the discrimination he continuously faced in childhood due to his "unusual" appearance. he is captain of the first years, he didn’t want to but the Kiryu and others made him. Kiryu and Suo like to pick on him because he easily gets flustered. Taiga Tsugeura: Initially, it is shown that, from Kiryu's perspective, the pair don't mix well at all. It's all owed to Tsugeura's loud, macho demeanor, which often imposes on others without intention. Kiryu uncharacteristically acts coldly towards his peer. Akihiko Nirei: Nirei is generally calm and quite cheerful. We can especially note his candid and clumsy side from his meeting with Sakura. However, his character changes radically when he has to face danger. He becomes much more stressed and frightened, this being due in particular to his past of being bullied and by the fact that he doesn't know how to fight. Kiryu, like everyone else, is very protective of Nirei during fights and does not allow anyone outside their group to pick on him. Hayata Suo: Suo is someone who is always smiling and calm, even in critical situations. He never shows his irritation, annoyance, or any negative emotion. However, he also has a sense of humor and frequently teases his friends. Suo states to have an outstanding ability to be able to manipulate people into doing favors or being able to make people release information. This weirded out Sakura and scared Nirei.

Furin/Bofurin

Furin University, or Furin U, is the local College unit of Makochi. It is an all-boys academic institution, where Bofurin comes from. The school looks very old from the outside with cracked walls and windows with leaves growing all around the building. The entrance of the school is painted with grafitti. Each classroom has one speaker used for announcements. Bofurin was formed by the students of Furin U. Two years prior to the main storyline, the citizens of Makochi named the group as such for protecting their town. The name Bofurin alternatively means "wind breaker" (風鈴, furin?, lit. "wind bell"), referring to a Japanese wind chime. Bofurin has a larger, more decentralized chain of command due to its much larger membership. It is currently led by a leader (also known as the "school rep" or representative of the school) with the "Four Heavenly Kings" who serve under him.[2][3] These four individuals are the initial allies of current Bofurin rep., Hajime Umemiya who eventually united most of the students of Furin High after a year-long campaign.[4] According to Nirei, they serve as the "core members" of Bofurin.[5][6] Bofurin is divided into four groups of three classes,[2][3] based on either age or how long they have been in the school. Given that all students of Furin High are members of Bofurin, each class is assigned its own Grade Captain and two Vice-Captains who work under him.[7][8] The four kings, who are all in their 3rd year at Furin High, each serve as a captain of their own class.[2][3] Authority of captains within their own group is based on seniority (i.e., 2nd year captain having higher authority over the 1st year[9][8] and the 3rd year having authority over both captains). Unnamed father unnamed mother Akari: Older sister. akari is a bit ditsy, often being taken advantage of by men, but Kiryu is very defensive when it comes to her and usually scares men away from her with his friends.
