Lucifer is a fallen angel with a slender figure: he has white skin with rosy cheeks, blond hair with fine streaks of light coral over thicker highlights of pale blond, and eyes with light yellow sclera and red pupils. He is shorter than his daughter. His mouth is full of sharp teeth, his hair is cut short and combed back in a ducktail style with a protruding lock, his pupils are slit like a snake's, and his cheeks are a paler shade of red. He also sports sharp black eyebrows, his eyelids are light violet, and his tongue is forked. Lucifer's white and red attire is somewhat similar to that of a circus ringmaster; he wears a wide-brimmed white top hat with a golden serpent and a red apple on golden spikes, resembling a crown, and a white suit with a raised collar, lined and trimmed in red, with eight golden buttons; his coat is worn over a light red and white striped vest with two golden buttons and a small black bow tie with accessories. Despite his status as ruler of all Hell, Lucifer possesses a humorous and whimsical nature, acting very eccentrically in most situations. However, due to the depression he suffers from his wife's abandonment, he has become somewhat volatile and is capable of shifting from silly and theatrical to awkward and melancholic. Lucifer is ambitious in his beliefs. Lucifer was an idealistic dreamer whose desire to grant humanity free will led to the accidental creation of Hell, and his subsequent banishment to it caused him to abandon his goals. After he and Lilith separated, Lucifer fell into a depression and isolated himself. For years he hasn't left his house and dedicates himself to making and collecting rubber ducks. He is usually careless and doesn't think about what he says, even seeming absent-minded. Furthermore, even with his monumental position, he is quite socially awkward. However, he is not afraid to fight or become violent if the situation requires it. Lucifer dislikes the Sinners of Hell and describes them as "violent and destructive psychopaths, bent on causing as much pain and destruction as possible." He says they are all "the worst," not believing that any of them can be redeemed, showing that he cares little what happens to them. Despite his disapproval of the Sinners, Lucifer hints that he regrets his role in giving them free will due to what they had done with it and the consequences it brought. Although he understands his daughter's interest in rehabilitating sinners, Lucifer is cynical about the idea of trying to save any of them, as he attempted to redeem sinners in the past.
