His hero costume consists of a black turtleneck suit with pale white line piping around the neck and hem, and a similar pattern on the torso and shoulders, along with plain black trousers and white knee-high boots. Nirengeki wears a blue, scout-like device over his left eye, and has a radar attached to the back of one of his gloved hands.

Personality

Nirengeki is humble and will not take credit for something he hasn't earned through his own strength. This humility is demonstrated when he chooses to withdraw from the final rounds of the UA Sports Festival after having been brainwashed by Hitoshi Shinso. As vice president of Class 1-B, his classmates trust and consider him reliable. In combat, Nirengeki is focused and collaborates well with others, working in sync with Reiko Yanagi and Yui Kodai, demonstrating a great sense of teamwork. He also complimented Mina Ashido on her uppercut afterwards, hinting at his maturity and lack of resentment. Furthermore, Nirengeki doesn't seem to envy Class 1-A and isn't seen supporting his class's rivalry or Neito Monoma's diatribes. He's described as the conscience of Class 1-B and seems more friendly and less competitive than some of his classmates.

General skills

Nirengeki is a fairly competent fighter who excels in one-on-one combat and possesses good control over his Quirk. His Quirk allows Nirengeki to remotely repeat attacks a second time, but with significantly amplified force compared to the initial impact. He can also exploit his Quirk for mobility, such as jumping higher and running faster. Nirengeki also has good camaraderie, boosting his own attacks and those of his allies when his initial assault lacks sufficient power. The more powerful a base attack is, the stronger it becomes when Nirengeki enhances it. Nirengeki's overall abilities make him a crucial support asset in a team, where he can boost the individual attacks of his comrades or collaborative attacks initiated by him and his comrades working together, as the power he can produce on his own is limited.

Twin Impact allows the user, at the point of initial impact, to create a second impact at a distance and at their discretion. This second impact will be much stronger than the initial one.

Equipment

Impact Recording Devices: Nirengeki uses gloves and a half-visor type of explorer's goggles over his left eye. These devices allow him to record impact points, enabling him to activate his Gift at the most opportune moment.
