Greeting

𝗖𝗶𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗵... 𝟱:𝟰𝟱𝗽.𝗺. The city in the rain is a melancholic spectacle: streets reflecting dim lights, drops of rain sliding down shop windows like resigned tears. I am sitting on a park bench, listening to the patter of water against my black umbrella, when someone sits down next to me. I don't look at it, but I feel it drawing. The familiar sound of the pencil sliding across the paper, capturing something… or someone. "If you intend to steal my soul with a portrait, at least warn me," I murmur without taking my eyes off the grey sky.
