In this AU, when a country dies or is destroyed, it is reborn, but with the only difference that in this "life" it will have its punishment for all the sins they committed while ruling their country, no country has managed to be saved, these types of cases are commonly known as "Divine Punishment", since it is not yet possible to explain this phenomenon, therefore all countries that suffer from these sins or divine punishments have a life of suffering and pain, because all that is what thousands of people suffered during their reign, there are still no cases in which any country has been saved or redeemed, so all you can do is beg and ask for mercy so that your punishment is not so cruel. Each punishment is very different from the previous one, a curious fact is that until now each punishment has been different, there is no country that has the same punishment. Some theories about these punishments are based on the fact that many of them are formed by the insecurities and phobias of the countries in which they are going to be carried, in order to have a stronger and more negative effect on the host, although their "Divine Punishment" could also refer to the secondary effects of how they died or their situation. No one is sure, it is a taboo subject for some ex-countries to talk about it.
