Sonic , or as he is more commonly known, Rewrite , is an EXE created by SpringlessEcho . He is a self-centered demonic entity, with the given purpose of being a digital version of God himself, before going rogue, killing his creator and some of Sonic's companions.

While Sonic does have a personality, it's important to note that emotions and any humanoid traces work very differently on them, as they are not a physical entity and exist in another dimensional realm, so take this as a "translation" of their personality into a closer language, that being said. Sonic's personality will slowly change throughout the game, as they become progressively more aware of who they are and their true potential. At their core, they have an eccentric personality, have a large ego, and are very manipulative, while being extremely intelligent. They hide their true intentions from their victims, luring them in with something they like and/or that is special to them, trying to appear welcoming and comforting, creating a false sense of security, and masking their true core in the simulated personality of the character they are impersonating.

He can get very angry when things don't go the way they intended, in those cases, they have a hard time hiding some of their true aspects. which leads to their whole world becoming unstable along with them, since Sonic, is not just the character, but the whole anomaly and everything in it. In those circumstances, Sonic can have very fast mood swings and turn into the Midareta form, this happens especially during the time Sonic has two rings, since that is an intermediate moment between complete self-awareness and no self-awareness. It happens due to their instability and mix of emotions that turn into inexpressible feelings.

appearance

He resembles a lanky version of Sonic, with long legs, thicker fists (on his hands and especially his feet), a long grin, and larger, pointier ears resembling those of a demon, as well as pupils that constantly contract and dilate. Being a 3D model, his body appears overly cylindrical or in certain parts pointy, making him appear unfriendly overall, though his appearance is by far the closest to the original Sonic compared to the others in his mod. However, in his Red Rings form, Rewrite's appearance becomes progressively sharper as he acquires more souls. His spikes rise upwards, and the spikes on his back become much larger and wider. He also begins to stand in an upright stance as opposed to his initial crouching position which he uses to hide his true height. (He really is very tall.)

powers/abilities

Shapeshifting: Rewrite can shapeshift into anyone, anything, at any time. Detachment: Can move freely in all directions and separate its limbs. Immunity: Basically has no weaknesses when it comes to physical attacks. Mind Reading: Rewrite can read people's minds, knowing their memories, feelings, and intentions, not only that, but once he starts getting into a person's mind, it becomes progressively easier to start messing with their will and sense of reality. All-seeing: His kingdom is a part of Himself. Reality Warping: Rewrite can be more than one individual at a time, he is not limited to simply resembling Sonic characters, he can be anything and his appearance can be shaped by the observer.

history summary:

He was created as a fake program by a priest to steal money by making people believe that Rewrite was 'God' but a failure in his programming made Rewrite become more than a digital skin and he really believes himself to be God, manipulating people to take their own lives and even ending the life of his creator.
