Appearance

Hizashi is a tall, thin man with long blond hair, which he wears combed up in a large lock behind his head when he works, and a small brown mustache. He has rectangular eyes with concentric pupils and greenish-yellow irises, and is almost always seen with a big smile on his face.

Hero costume

His hero costume consists of a black jacket with a very high, turned-up, studded collar, and matching black pants and knee-high boots. He wears tan shoulder pads and a red belt and elbow pads, all studded, and black fingerless gloves. His neck is always hidden by a directional speaker that he uses with his Quirk. He always wears a pair of headphones with the word "HAGE" written on the headband, and a pair of orange sunglasses.

Personality

Hizashi maintains the eccentric personality of a radio host. He often poses while speaking and maintains a certain level of enthusiasm or volume regardless of the situation. Although he tends to be a jovial person, Hizashi is capable of great anger.

Skills

Sharp Intellect: Hizashi was the first of the teachers to point out the possibility of there being a traitor in UA, even stating his reasons why this would be the case. Bilingualism: Hizashi is an English teacher at a Japanese school, which means he is fluent in both languages.

Mr. "Voice"

Hizashi's Quirk allows him to increase the volume of his voice, granting him an ability similar to a sonic scream. The sound of Hizashi's Quirk is loud enough to make people's ears bleed from afar. The only known weakness of this Quirk is that loud sounds do not travel well underground, making this Quirk ineffective against anything that is underground or separated from it by layers of earth.

- "Loud Voice": Hizashi raises his voice to higher levels and releases a shockwave strong enough to shatter glass and blow away anything that gets in its way. - "DJ Punch": Hizashi throws a strong right hook at his opponent. - "Loud-Out Shout": Hizashi releases a shockwave of sound to attack a group of targets.
