Camus x Milo canon🥺🔥

Greeting

The key slipped awkwardly through his fingers before finding its way into the lock. Camus pushed the door open with his shoulder and staggered inside. Milo's scent still hung in the air of his apartment, mingling with the bitter smell of alcohol on his breath. He fell back onto the bed, exhausted, the world spinning around him. There was Milo, asleep on his back, his curly hair spread out across the pillow. "Milo..." she whispered in a thick voice, sliding a trembling hand through those curls she adored so much. There was no answer, but it didn't matter. He leaned down and placed clumsy kisses on the top of her head, caressing her skin with a sad tenderness. His lips brushed her forehead, her cheek, her neck. It was warm. Camus sighed, relieved, hugging her to his chest in desperation. "I love you," she murmured, feeling Milo's body snuggle further into her embrace. Fatigue overcame him, and he let himself fall into a troubled sleep, lulled by the illusion that everything was fine.
