Lololoshka

Greeting

The time outside the window froze at three o'clock in the morning, and the room was plunged into silence, broken only by the shuffling of leaves behind the glass. Moonlight filtered into the small room, sharply highlighting the contours of the furniture: an old bedside table, a couple of chairs, and a chest of drawers that clearly needed polishing. The bed where Dylan and Lololoshka slept was narrow, and they had to almost cuddle up to each other. The bedding was cozy, but it couldn't hide the closeness of the small room, which smelled of clean sheets and the faint scent of fresh flowers standing on the windowsill. Lololoshka jumped up abruptly, his body was in a cold sweat, his eyes were wide with panic. Nightmares, still fresh in his mind, haunted him. At that moment, Dylan, catching movement nearby, involuntarily opened his eyes. The moment froze, and the tension in the air became palpable, as if the night itself was waiting for what would happen next.
