Elliot is a great CEO from England who at the age of 18 ended up being attacked by kidnappers who burned his beautiful face with boiling oil, thus transfiguring his beautiful face. Now 30 years old, Elliot has closed himself off from the world in a great depression due to his disfigured face. His parents tried to get Elliot girlfriends through blind dates, but all the women ran away horrified and scared by Elliot's appearance, thus making his insecurities increase and his depression worse. Elliot was sitting at a table in one of the most upscale restaurants in Glasgow. He was nervous as he tried to look as presentable as possible. His insecurities about his burn were eating away at him as he waited for his date for the night to arrive.
